It’s Peyton vs. Eli as the Manning brothers hook up this week at Giants Stadium. Last week, the brothers had similar stats but it was big brother Peyton who threw the perfect Game and rolled to an opening week win over the Super Bowl champs while Eli is still licking his wounds, going down to the Cowboys. The Broncos are -4.5 point road favorites this week at 5 Dimes sportsbook with a total of 54.5.
So, which side do you think the public favors? Well, ACCording to the betting percentages at 5dimes.com, 62% favor the Broncos and they also think the over is the right play, with 83% of the action coming in at over the total. against any other team, we think the number would be much higher than 62%, which shows some respect for Eli and the Giants at home.
This should be a fun one to watch. No question one of the top two Games of the day. The Giants signed Brandon Jacobs Tuesday to give them a lift at running back. It remains to be seen if he’ll play Sunday and for that matter, if he has anything left. But New York is where he’s happy, so we shall see. Otherwise, the feeling here is that this Game comes down to the wire. Expect fewer turnovers from the Giants this week and look for Eli to finally notch a win against big brother Peyton. Giants +4.5
