In week 5, the Tennessee Titans’ defense showed up in a big way against the Miami Dolphins. They sacked Ryan Tannehill a season-high six times and forced two interceptions. Their defensive line was on Tannehill in a hurry all Game which paid dividends on the back end allowing for the two turnovers to take place.
The Titans offense also relied on a heavy dose of DeMarco Murray to carry them through the Game, but he does not deserve all of the credit. Derrick Henry chipped in with 54 yards on 7 carries and Mariota had 60 yards on 7 carries with a touchdown rush.
Mariota was efficient as a passer and contributed another 3 passing touchdowns without a turnover. No doubt, the Tennessee Titans have talent on their team and they’re looking to turn things around from last season. In fact, they’re only one win away from matching last season’s win total. They currently sit at 2 and 3, just one win outside of first place in the AFC South.
The Cleveland Browns got the joy of suffering from Tom Brady’s rage and return to the football field after a Four-Game suspension for deflateGAte. Brady dropped 406 yards passing and 3 touchdowns on the Browns.
The Browns were destroyed by the Patriots’ two tight-end set allowing Gronkowski to haul in 5 catches for 109 yards and the Black Unicorn, Martellus Bennett, to Score3 touchdowns on the day.
The Browns had to rely on their now 4th string quarterback to enter the Game. Charlie Whitehurst did his best, but the Browns were simply overmatched in this Game. The Browns are now 0 and 5 and steadily on their way to a number one overall draft pick.
The Browns are 0 and 5 for a reason. They’re not a good football team and injuries and personal problems are making them even worse. They have for the most part been competitive though.
3 of the Browns 5 losses were at least competitive while the Titans haven’t exactly been a team to extend a margin this year. That said, we’ll take the TD with the Browns and cross Our fingers. Not a strong play. Browns +7
