The Rams pulled out a 3-point victory against the Jets. The Scorewas 9-6 in a Game that might have set offenses back a few years. Neither offense could do anything remotely productive with the football.
The Rams were so displeased with the offenses’ performance that they are going to turn to the number one overall pick, Jared Goff. Jared Goff had an exceptional career at Cal. The guy can make any and every throw. While attending the same college will draw this comparison, he is Aaron Rodgers-esque. The Goff era for the Rams needs to begin and Jeff Fisher thinks it is time.
The Miami Dolphins won a Game that they were about 2 plays and five yards away from losing. The San Diego Chargers were driving late in the Game to kick a go ahead field goal with time dwindling down. Then Phillip Rivers did what he does, let Chargers fans down. He threw his third interception of the Game.
The Dolphins won the Game, but had a ton of penalties that will need to be cleaned up. It was a dread watching the ball constantly moved down the field not due to rushing or passing, but due to penalties. Ryan Tannehill played a really good Game. He was not asked to win the Game, but made timely and beautiful throws to help the Dolphins win the Game. His deep ball looked magnificent. Each time the Dolphins went down, Tannehill had an answer.
In their second Game in a row on the West Coast, the Dolphins are a 1.5-point favorite against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jared Goff is making his first start against an aggressive defense and a ridiculously talented defensive line. That could spell a lot of trouble for the rookie. Todd Gurley set the bar too high for himself last year and has not looked to be the stud that he was made out to be last year (so far this year, not to say that he won’t become that stud again).
The Dolphins were able to keep Melvin Gordon in check, so shouldn’t struggle with the Rams’ offense. The Rams’ defense is fantastic, but the Dolphins seem to have found their groove. Dolphins -1.5
