Apparently Ryan Fitzpatrick is upset that the upper management of the New York Jets stopped believing in him. Maybe that’s what he needed was to be put on the beNCh for awhile because not too long ago, he played quite possibly the worst football Game we’ve ever seen a quarterback play. He threw 6 interceptions in that Game.
Fitzpatrick lead the Jets to a come back victory against the Ravens last week. He looked sharp and in tune with the Game after Geno Smith went down with an injury. Fitzpatrick will be at the helm of the offense again.
Matt Forte was relevant again after having been irrelevant in the prior few weeks. Forte climbed up to 100 yards on the ground and 54 receiving yards while enjoying touchdown success twice in the Game.
The still winless Browns may be starting Kevin HoGAn at quarterback against the Jets. What would that be, their 6th starting quarterback this year?. Kevin HoGAn showed some rushing ability against the Bengals, but now that there is tape on him, it’ll likely be a rough outing for him. Especially having to go up against that vaunted defensive line that the Jets possess.
But honestly folks, it shouldn’t really matter who the QB is for the Browns this week. The Jets really don’t deserve to be favored against anyone. In fact their offensive yards per point number, the ability to covert yards into points, is WORSE than the Browns!
Two bad teams here. Our model says flip a coin for the straight up winner, which means we’re taking the points in this one with the winless home dog. Could this be win #1 for Cleveland? Browns +3
