The Chicago Bears will host the Detroit Lions in an NFC Central clash between two teams with their backs to the wall. The Lions come in at 1-2 while the Bears have yet to hit the win column. The Lions are currently listed as -2.5 point road favorites.
Chicago, as expected, lost to the Cowboys on Sunday night. The Cowboys had too many weapons on offense and enough talent on defense to control Brian Hoyer. Brian Hoyer statistically had a good Game, but if you watched the Game, the Cowboys had control of him.
Lions
Jeremy LAngford will be out for the Bears. This leaves room for rookie Jordan Howard. The stats won’t show the talent of this guy, but he will most likely become the featured back of this offense as the season progresses.
The Bears are athletically gifted on the offensive side of the ball, but not polished enough to give either the Packers or Vikings a scare. Good thing this Game is against the Lions so we have something to talk about.
The Lions lost to the Packers, but did manage to make it a competitive Game towards the end. Marvin Jones has been on fire to start this season. 6 catches for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns in his most recent contest.
The Lions have more talent on both sides of the ball. The Bears just lost their starting running back and placed their best cornerback on IR. It’s not as if Kyle Fuller has played this year, but it had to be a blow to morale. Look for the Lions to get an early lead on the Bears and then attempt to milk the clock with their poor running Game. Lions -2.5
