New England Patriots

vs.

Cleveland Browns

Week 5

NFL Pick

10/9/16

The Cleveland Browns have injuries spread across the offensive side of the ball, from quarterback to their offensive line and wide receivers. Josh Gordon was supposed to make his debut, but instead will head to rehab to hopefully get the help that he is looking for.

On a brighter note, the Browns have come across a gem with wide receiver Terrelle Pryor who has been a constant threat to Scoreon any play. Pryor is a mismatch for any defensive back at 6’4 and 230 pounds. He is coming into the Game with 290 yards receiving and one touchdown. Most of his production has come when injured wide receiver Cory Coleman went down. The Browns only hope to win this Game is going to come down to a rusty Tom Brady who has not seen any snaps since the pre-season.

The New England Patriots are traveling to Cleveland with a rejuvenated and motivated Tom Brady coming off of his Four Game suspension due to DeflateGAte. The Patriots have weapons all over the field and you add, arguably the greatest quarterback of all time to the roster and it sounds like a blow-out win for the Patriots.

The Patriots are hoping the combination of a healthy Gronkowski and freshly rested Brady will make this a Game to put the rest of the league on notice. The Patriots are currently ranked 28th in passing, but that will change very quickly with Brady under center. The Patriots relied heavily on the run for the last Four weeks and that is shown with the team coming in 3rd in overall rushing.

The main work horse has been running back LeGArrette Blount, who has rushed for a team high 342 yards. The Patriots have been dominant on defense this year and they will be going up against a Browns team who has surprisingly rushed the ball to the number one ranked rush offense in the league.

Heading into Cleveland the Patriots are favored by 10.5 points. This forecasted prediction is equivalent to giving the Patriots an 86% chance to win this Game.

The Cleveland Browns only hope is that their rushing attack can keep the Game close and slow the pace down against the high powered New England Patriots. The Game should be competitive early with the Browns playing at home, but oNCe The Patriots offense gets going this Game will end in a route. Patriots -10.5
