NFL Pick

L.A. Rams (7-2 SU 6-3 ATS) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2 SU 6-3 ATS)

The Rams and Vikings are two of the most surprising teams in the league and they match up in the LAnd of 10,000 LAkes this Sunday. The Rams have won Four in a row and they are in first place in the NFC West one Game up on the Seattle Seahawks. In looking at the stats no shock the Rams are doing so well ranking 1st in the league in ppg and 3rd in opponents’ ppg. There is no place like home does not really apply to L.A., as both of their losses have been at home while they are a perfect 4-0 away from LA LA LAnd.

At 5 dimes sportsbook the Vikings are 1-point favorites with a total of 45.5.

The Vikings are red-hot winners of five in a row and they are two Games up on the Lions and fading Packers in the NFC North. Case Keenum has solidified his starting role even with Teddy Bridgewater back and while their D ranks a legit tied for 5th in the league in points allowed they did give up 30 points in their last Game.

These teams have not met since the 2015 season.

The Vikings are 4-0 ATS in their last Four Games facing the Rams.

The Rams are coming off a dominating 33-7 win over the Houston Texans. They racked up 443 yards while holding the Texans to 283 yards and their D forced Four turnovers. L.A. blew up in the 3rd quarter outscoring Houston 21-0 and they held the Texans to 4/12 on 3rd down conversions. Jared Goff continues his impressive sophomore season and in the Houston win he passed for 355 yards with 3 TD and 0 INT and his main target was Robert Woods, who had a big Game with 171 receiving yards and 2 TD. Goff has 9 TD and only 1 INT in his last Four Games with 7 of those TD’s in the last two Games. Todd Gurley rushed for 68 yards on only 11 carries in the blowout win and he has been held to under 70 rushing yards in two straight Games after rushing for at least 106 yards in two in a row.

Goff and company will be facing Minnesota defense that ranks 12th in the league defending the pass and 3rd defending the run.

The Vikings beat the Washington Redskins 38-30 in their last Game and they would have won by a bigger margin if Case Keenum did throw two picks. They out-GAined the Skins 406 yards to 394 yards and held Washington to only 81 rushing yards. Keenum did have a couple of INT, but he also passed for 304 yards with 4 TD and Adam Thielen had 166 receiving yards and a score. LAtavius Murray rushed for 68 yards averaging Four yards per carry with a TD and he has really been up and down in the last few Games. While L.A.’s D ranks legit overall they do only rank 24th in the league defending the run and Murray will have his chances in this big NFC match up.

The Rams are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Games, 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 Games against teams from the NFC, and in their last 4 road Games the Over record is 4-0.

The Vikings are 21-6 ATS in their last 27 home Games. 20-7 ATS in their last 27 Games after a straight up win, and in their last 26 Games against teams with a winning record the Under record is 19-7.

Jason’s Pick; The Rams are legit on both sides of the ball and they will show that in this Game. Their offense will put up a lot of points facing a Vikings D that GAve up 30 points in their last Game and win and cover for their 5th straight W.
