College Football Weekly Look Ahead – Week 7

Last weekend Florida disposed of SEC rival LSU. This week another stiff test is slated on the SEC Schedule, this time on the road. The No. 2 Gators will travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium and take on newly one-loss Auburn and look to continue the impossible: run the table in SEC play. With a Conference so deep and talented, rarely will one of these SEC teams have a chance to win out and find a spot in the BCS title Game. Well, it’s safe to say if Florida does so they will be in Arizona come January.

Chris Leak continues to be the rock for Urban Meyer’s offense to lean upon when they need clutch plays, however freshmen Tim Tebow continues to amaze. The first year quarterback rushed for a Scoreand threw two more in the win over LSU. And it was the Gator defense that came up big with three big interceptions on JaMarcus Russell to frustrate him all Game.

Auburn might have been looking ahead to this Game and got punished for it, getting routed at home by Arkansas, 27-10. Not only did their defense look sub-par, but also the Auburn offense is not made for coming from behind. Quarterback Brandon Cox is a nice player that can effectively manage the Game, but he doesn’t have the kind of arm to throw 40 times and go down the field throughout the Game
