CHISOX LOOK TO SWEEP ROYALS......AGAIN

Just a few more days to go before the break on Sunday. At which point, no baseball other than All Star game festivities until next Thursday. The break isn't just for the players. It's for bettors too!

For today's free play we look to the American League. Before we get to that, just a heads up - I have a rare 4% play going tonight (most of my baseball plays are 2%). The game is on the night card so plenty of time to join me. I have only had one other 4% play this year and it cashed easily. To get it click here

On to today's free play. While not a strong recommendation, we're going to use the Chisox here today as they go for the sweep, again, against the Royals. Those of you that have been following along here on these pages know by now that I'm not too high on the Royals a fully expect them to end up right where they are now....in the basement. So here we get a team in the White Sox, in first place, having won 4 in a row, 8 of 10, 11 of 13, and 5 straight against the Royals, at a very fair price of as low as -106 at one book.

The Royals on the other hand have lost 2 in a row, 7 of 10, 9 of 12 and 4 straight at home. The pitching matchup favors us as well. While Greinke has played very well for the Royals this year, especially at home, the Chisox seem to have his number. He is 2-7 with a 4.81 in 14 games against the Chisox. Buehrle goes for the Chisox and he's 16-6 against the Royals and the Chisox have won 12 of the last 14 games he has started against them.

It's a game of numbers folks. At -106 or so, you don't have to do much better than 50/50 in this particular game to show a profit over the long haul. If this exact game were played 1000 times, do you think each team would win 500? Past history would indicate otherwise. Sox please.
