The NFC East is on the line when Dallas and New York square up for the second
time this year. While the Giants got the better of the Cowboys in Texas last
month it is Dallas on top of the division with New York reeling.
The ‘Boys are 4-1 since Tony Romo was named starter and are 7-4 overall. New
York is 6-5 and in the middle of a three game losing streak and couldn’t be
playing worse. New York will be hosting but it is Dallas that is favored. The
Giants have won four of the last five meetings, including October 23’s 36-22 win
early this season.
Tony Romo is arguably playing better than any quarterback in the league. He has
thrown for 16 touchdown passes in five and a half games and has one of the best
ratings in the NFL at 105.5. Conversely, Eli Manning has been awful and has
looked very shaky for New York. Manning has thrown 16 interceptions and his
rating is only 76.4.
