T.O. or Moss, Who Will Dominate?

Posts Odds on Raiders-Eagles
September 21, 2005
After a second week of surprises and upsets, fans can look forward to an
action-filled Week 3 of the NFL season. Bodog.com has posted all the odds.
“We saw another exciting weekend of football,” says Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO
of Bodog.com. “We saw the physical Carolina Panthers capitalize on turnovers
against the usually unflappable New England Patriots, and Eli Manning and the
New York Giants pounce on the New Orleans Saints. One thing for sure, I will
need to carefully review my Bodog Fantasy Football picks this week.”
The upcoming weekend features a slate of exciting games. On Sunday, wide
receiver Randy Moss and the Oakland Raiders square off against the favored
Philadelphia Eagles. Coming off a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Raiders
look to counter the duo of quarterback Donovan McNabb and wideout Terrell Owens,
who, judging by their stellar performance last week against San Francisco, seem
to have put their quarrelling behind them. Will it be T.O. or Moss who steals
the show?
After an underwhelming performance in Carolina, the two-time defending champion
Patriots will look to rebound against quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the
Pittsburgh Steelers in a rematch of the AFC Championship Game. Patriots
quarterback Tom Brady will need to step up as the Bodog.com bookmakers show the
Steelers as a 3-point favorite.
In Monday Night Football, the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos renew their
AFC West rivalry. The Chiefs are 2-0 after defeating the Raiders last weekend.
Although they will be playing back-to-back road games, the Chiefs are 4-1
against the spread when they are the away team on Monday Night Football. The
Denver Broncos are on a 6-1-1 streak against the spread when they host the
Chiefs. Bodog bookmakers currently have the Broncos as 3-point favorites as they
play before their fans at Invesco Field.
