Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz

One more compelling match up and possible playoff series in the West that could go 7 games.

Early in the season when Yao Ming went down I was absolutely sure that the Tracy McGrady and the Rockets were finished for the year once again by yet another devastating injury to one of their key players, but little did the world know that they would dominate the Western Conference and win an amazing record stetting 22 games in a row.

With the Rockets being able to pull it together without Yao and beat some of the best teams in the West, I would say that you can count them out of this series even though I think the Jazz is the better team.

The Jazz are very dangerous as they have tons of offensive weapons that can go off on any given night like Carlos Boozer, Deron Williams and Andrei Kirilenko.

These three guys and the health of both Rafer Alston and Tracy McGrady will be key to this series. It is very possible that this series will go 7 games, but I believe that without Yao in the middle, Carlos Boozer will have a field day and destroy the Houston Rockets.
