    College football plus ratings

    think of each 'plus' as a score. example, +8 x 7 = 56 point line
    +8 should be between a 24 and 56 point line favorite.
    +3 * 7 = -21, or +3 * 3 = -9. a plus 3 should be favored between 9 and 21
    points. thats a large range, but if a +3 is favored by only 3, then
    that is a play; however, if a +3 is favored by 20, that is a no play

    point spread for each plus, college football only
    +8 -24 to -56
    +7 -21 to -49
    +6 -18 to -42
    +5 -15 to -35
    +4 -12 to -28
    +3 -9 to -21
    +2 -6 to -14
    +1 -3 to -7 ::: look for larger discrepancies, ie getting 7 points
