I will be the first one to commend the Jazz on their early success but we will all agree they are an overacheiving group. Utah struggled to defeat a shaky Magic team in their last win and I anticipate they will encounter even more problems with a talented Kings team that should know better than to take them lightly. I see that the consensus in multiple forums is on the Jazz and that only makes me feel more confident about taking the Kings.
Lakers/Knicks over 189
The Knicks do not have the defensive stoppers to match up with the likes of Bryant and Payton off the dribble. I feel this is the type of game where Sprewell relied to take one of the Lakers scores out of sync. The Lakers on the other hand have seemed to forget how to play defense. This game should start with a quick pace.
