This is a matchup that jumps off the sheet at me. Now as a MSU alumnus I typically don't wager on games involving the Spartans, but this is just too good to pass up.
Penn State has had a very forgettable season and is looking to save face. Michigan State started out on a torrid pace but has lost three and got down right embarassed at Camp Randle last weekend.
Penn State showed that they are not willing to lay down and wait for next season. They tallied 52 unanswered points on Indiana last week. Granted it was only Indiana, the doormat of the Big Ten, but it may prove to be just what they needed to get their confidence back on offense.
Michigan State is known primarily as a basketball school for a reason, in the past few years the football program has fallen off of the national radar after underacheiving the past two seasons. And after an absolute wood shed beating in Wisconsin last Saturday, the word around East Lansing is that this team will mail it in against the Nittany Lions Saturday.
Penn State will beat the spread (+6) and possibly win outright.
