NY Rangers @ Tampa Bay Lightning
The NY Rangers seek their first set of consecutive wins in four weeks tonight when they travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Rangers are coming off of their biggest win of the season with a 6-2 victory at home against Ottawa. The Lightning is coming off of a tie with the Hurricanes on Sunday, and has not been beaten in four consecutive games.

The Rangers will be playing without center Erik Lindros and defenseman Tom Poti. Lindros has not been extremely impressive so far this season, with only 2 goals and 4 assists. Tampa Bay enters the game with a full healthy roster.

In net for the Rangers is Mike Dunham. Dunham has not performed very well lately with a 3.16 GAA in his last five starts. When the Rangers are on the road, they are averaging a total of 3.7 GA. These numbers do not look too good for NY, especially when compared to the Lightning who enter tonight’s game with almost opposite stats.

John Grahame Takes the goal for Tampa Bay tonight. Grahame has done fairly well in his last five starts with an average goals against of only 1.29. When Tampa Bay plays at home the club is averaging a total of 1.9 GA and 3.5 GF. The Lightning has a total season average of 3.0 GF and 1.8 GA. The Rangers have only 2.5 and 2.6 averages respectively.

Our Expert Picks Power Ratings give the advantage to Tampa Bay by a full -1.5 points. Our ratings also predict a higher scoring game. I expect the Lightning to take the win in tonight’s game with a final score of 3-2 over of the Rangers.

I recommend a play on Tampa Bay -0.5 for -130 and Over +5.0 for -115
Play both picks at one unit each.
