  • It's Turkey Day Football

It's time to load up on some Turkey and watch some good Football.

Detroit at home playing the Packers. The Packers opened up as 8 1/2 point favorites, the line is dropping to 7.5.

Detroit plays very well at home and on thanksgiving this is no different.

Detroit is 10-1 ATS as home dog vs the Packers.

15-4 ATS as Home Dog versus Division.

After playing the vikings the lions are 11-2 ATS.

I know they are hurt, banged up at every position., but this is prime time baby and they will play.

Dallas at home my favorite Turkey Day team of all time..

Dallas has won the last two meetings between these two teams, last game was in November 1999 at Dallas 20-0.

The Cowboys are simply playing better ball right now and - 3pts is a gift.

Taking the Double D....s Detroit and Dallas

    Good Luck to all

I still like Green Bay to roll. Farve has a Farve- like game ( not the interception throwong Farve!!). But do like your dallas pick after further review!!

    Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Side Notes to GB at Detroit.................

Since 1934 the Lions have played 63 games on Turkey Day going 32-29-2. The Lions have lost 2 straight games on thanksgiving.

The Lions have not lost 3 straight turkey day games since 1986-1988.

The Pack has made 30 appearances going 11-17-2

Green Bay has Sharper and Barnett listed as a game time decision to start, 2 solid Defensive players, a huge blow if they dont play.

Farve is nursing a broken finger and the packs running game is being called upon to deliver, you can bet Detroit is laser beamed in on stopping this.

Call me crazy, but I am still laying with the Lions and the Points

      Good Luck to all

      Happy Thanksgiving to every one......

I hope every one enjoyed the day of turkey, football and a few brews.

The Lions played their hearts out on prime time.... What a hard hitting football game. Lions cover.

Dallas on the other hand looked like a team that just may well be going in the other direction, 8-4 with the loss, I personally dont see Dallas ending the season in a strong position, more of a back door entry. I was very impressed with the Dolphins defense, this is a team to be watched.

        Good Luck to all Carpet
