View Full Version : Need opinions on GSC, INTERTOPS, WSEX?
I am getting ready to start up an account and narrowed it down to three...
GSC, INTERTOPS, or WSEX...I am leaning toward GSC because of teasers and being able to use a credit card...Any opinions on GSC or the other two? Should one be leary when using a credit card with a book? Thanks

I don't bet football - just hockey but I've used all 3 books for a couple of years. All pay promptly, post good lines and are easy to use. Highly recommended. Haven't used credit cards with sportsbooks mainly because the overhead is too high. Cheaper to send cashier's checks or bank wires. Most books pick up the transfer fees.
Good luck.
All three are excellent sportsbooks with long reputations for good efficient service.
You wont go wrong with any of them. They are among the best in the business of offshore sportsbooks. GSC and Intertops offer deposits by credit card.
I've had accounts with all three for quite some time now and have used each one extensively. If you had to choose one, I would go with GSC because they also offer phone wagering which can be a plus if you are away from your computer. GSC also offers teasers and allows you to buy points which Intertops does not have. The other two are both excellent and you can't go wrong with any of the three.
Thanks for the replies...

I've only ised WSEX. They're great. They offer everything the other two offer plus,
3% interest on your money, plus interactive wagering. I'm very happy with WSEX!

Typo in previous. It should say "I've only used WSEX".

gman, I was fortunate enough to have visited GSC a few weeks back. I would have no hesitation with opening an account up with this operation. GSC has a separate department to handle credit card transactions as well. They're definately in this for the long haul. As for the other books you've mentioned, the folks at GSC gave WSEX and Intertops some praise while I was down there so I think you have some winners here.
I only have an account with Itops, so I can only speak on their behalf. I am very happy with their book. The only thing that I don't like is that they do not take reverses and mixed sport parlays, otherwise they are great.

Are you guys pertaining to "GCS" which is Grand Central Sports? Or "GSC" which is now Betmaker?

AV was just having some fun from the old archives. I'd guess that GSC is (was) Global Sports Connection, now Betmaker.

All 3 are top notch books and all 3 take credit cards and offer teasers.

You guys are cracking me up. The question was asked a year and a half ago. http://bettorsworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
Sportshobby, excellent observation. I was wondering why Sting had re-appeared in Bettorsworld. And I was planning on begging him to get me a discount on my sessions with the "Shrink."

Yeah, I was also wondering how Grand Central will be rated A+ (no offense) since payout is only limited to once a week. http://bettorsworld.com/ubb/frown.gif http://bettorsworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yo Gman
If you call GCS and talk to them, they will negotiate different bonuses with you. I was so sick of "thats the way it is". I refered a buddy to them and they made it worth his while and we are both more than satisfied with both customer service and and that they take suggestions on, say for instance, a prop that someone else offers that they don't have. Check them out, it will be worth your time.

Don't use Intertops if you have a choice, slow payouts and dishonest...

Renowned, some would like to see bigger limits at Intertop, but their honesty isn't usually questioned. What makes you think this?

I dont understand, why everybody is talking about intertops and other sportsbooks with
mediocre odds.
compare it to W.Hill .
its reputable and offers better odds, than most of the other sportsbooks.
for example last year 1,91/1,91 on every single football game(when i remember rightly)
or 1,8/2,0 on nhl games incl. overtime.
on handicap both
that`s quite fair i think, compaired to most other sportsbooks

The important thing is line shopping, not who has the best odds.
On soccer, for example, that is not William Hill.

Gerome, WillHill has followed in Bowman's footsteps in drastically cutting limits when a player wins.
Is "competent and competitive U.K BM" an oxymoron?
