I love SIA. Next to WSEX, they are my favorite Offshore. Their lines are great for the Dog player. They are like your local guy in that they try to balance their own books, rather than just blindly following moves like other books out there. If they are loaded with GB money, they adjust the line to make Pitt attractive, and I'm always willing to take them up on things like that. They occassionally have server problems around crunch time on Sunday's, but that situation has improved over the last several weeks. Most important, The have alaways paid me, and I have not read any reports of non payment. The only negative is no 800 number.

Thanks for the info. I noticed that also about the dogs, the gb game was up to 5.5 which is crazy. But i like it since i loved pitt. Also how are their payouts, how fast did you receive the check in the mail?

Love it now while it lasts. After just getting back from the Dominican Republic, I can say without any hesitation, I would NEVER
send my hard-earned money to such a country.
Because the government is corrupt, you will have ZERO protection if a book goes under. There's no guarantee that you'll be protected anywhere, but at least some of these countries are serious about the industry and do not wish to have any negative publicity (ie. Antigua, and to an extent, Costa Rica).
I believe all you need to operate here is $10,000. If I were going to scam people (and I am not saying that Sports Interaction is NOT legit), this would be the first place I'd choose to operate, even before Grenada.
Sting,
To what extent will Costa Rica go to protect the player? My impression has always been that there was very little regulation there.

Stinger, Like Easybets, their servers are located in The Dominican Republic so they don't have to charge a betting tax. All correspondence and business seems to be transacted in their Home base of Ireland, so hopefully your fears are unfounded.

Startac, I get my payment via airmail in about 7 days with no charge to me. If you wish, they will charge you $30 for a next day bank wire.
SIA has been offering internet online betting for a little over a year. There have been no reported problems. Prior to this they operated in Ireland offering wagering for several years.
I have an account with them and havent experienced any problems. Would recommend them to others.

Thanks for the info Guesser. I knew about Easybets server being located there but not Sports Interaction. Still, the power goes out frequently - 7 times when I was there.
As for Costa Rica, I read somewhere (I believe RGTonline.com) they were going to set something up similar to what Antigua has at some point. I don't see anything in place yet but Costa Rica is a self-sustaining country that does not need U.S. aid. They also voted in a new president. These books are numerous and employ hundreds of Costa Ricans. I got the impression the country is very accomodating, but while there are some strong highly regarded books operating there such as GSC, ABC Island, NASA, Caribi, keep in mind there is also Stu Feiner-Friendly SDG Global and ******* Sports operating there as well. Remember, the government in Republica Dominicana is not always so accomodating (ie. EZ Bet and Carribean Sports this past summer)
I've accounts with both Easybets and SIA.
They looks like the same, with same software and both said their bases is at Ireland.
Actually I think they are pretty good if you are a small player and like to bet different sports and they also have the most betting options you can choose from.
Ever think about a $5 bet can win you $300,000 (their maximum payout)?
They allow you to parlay anything as long as the events are not related. So, a parlay of 5 to 6 games winning margin bet can possible bring you that amount.
Of course, when you have won that kind of amount. You maybe start to worry about.....but thats another issue.
I'm talking about something for fun not for serious plyers.
If you are serious players, observe their lines for about a week. You will know there's a lot of chances for you.
Sometimes I really think that they are too good to be true. Thats why I only keep a small amount on my accounts with them.
Let me give you some examples,
a. Breeders cup - a horse named Dylami withdrew at the racing day. According to all the other books which paid in fixed odds, it should be an action bet and it should be counted as a loss. However, Easybets counted it as a push.
b. GB -5.5 - the only place that I've found -5.5 on that MNF.
c. Tonite WF over at 120 (SIA) - I've got this number at afternoon while most of the others still at 115 or 116.
d. "Extras" - I can't mention this one, but if you like soccer, explore every betting options they have and sometime you will find that "extra". I can't say it cause I don't want them to fix the bug and I will lost it next time.
So, too good to be true, right?
Thats the reason that I just put a small amount into my account.
I know nothing about their backgrounds but as long as they paid, who cares?
But remember my advice, keep your account at a small amount. Thats your money after all.
Just my 2 cents.

Anyone knows whether they update their odds? I sometimes find that their odds come out later than other sportsbook.
