part 2 of the poll will be implimented.
note if the sportsbook does not appear any longer in poll-1, they will be coming up
in part 2. Now the poll is as follows per orders of the oddswiz. http://www.bettorsworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Rate Your Sportsbook Payouts:
Fast (1-2 days)
Average (3-4 days)
Slow (5 or more days)

Once again, this will be done over the next few days-gradually. so look for your book
and read the heading for the poll. then vote.

thanks.

Wouldn't a better question be did it arrive when promised since some books offer several choices for withdrawals?

When you ask that question Brian, is it the amount of days it takes to arrive or the time it takes for the book to process the request. After all, if it's the latter then it is unreasonable to expect a sportsbook to have a check in your hand in 1-2 days.

The question can be confusing so what we decided to do was to generalize it a little.

asking "are you satisfied with the response
time" would mean to me anyway "am i getting my money is reasonable time? am i satisfied
with the process?"

what is important is whether people are
happy with this part of the service.

with the options being yes or no i believe
a true indication as to whether or not
the books are getting the payouts when promised AND in reasonable time will become
evident. ex: if i want to cash out today
and i am told 8 days before i get my money
and it is 8 days, i will vote NO despite
receieving my money when promised.

Brian, I disagree. You can not fault a place if they are up front and say payouts take 8 days and then they deliver on it. As long as they are up front about that when you sign up they've done nothing wrong.

I don't think this poll will be as smooth and accurate as the last one.

Skeptic,

the question is whether you are satisfied with that. if the sportsbook gives you that answer and it is not satisfactory, that is a problem. whether the sportsbook knows it or not. we are looking for people to let the industry know if they are pleased with the
response time. if the industry averages 3
days and the poll was 80/20 NO votes (hypothetical) then it would need to be addressed. this is the purpose of the poll.
the purpose is not to determine who is in the
right/wrong.

I agree with you Brian. After all, if the book says "we have cash flow problems but will mail the check within 2 months", this is not reasonable even if the check arrives in 2 months.

Hartley, of course I agree with that. I don't know of any book that posts 2 months as their standard payout policy when you sign up. What I was trying to say that if a book has a policy that payouts take a week to 10 days by regular mail or 1-2 days if you pay the over night fees, they should not be faulted for their regular mail service. As long as they make this clear from the beginning.
