Sportsbooks on the island of Dominica are a joke PERIOD!...and don't expect this one to be any different. Is your credit card account being charged through a car rental agency????? Beware!

Sting, I have never been through a better casino in my life. In all the time I have been with them the only problem I had was when I requested a payout at 11:00a.m. and it supposed to take two hours via western union. It took till 1:30p.m. so I guess that is a problem for you. The bottom line is they pay. I collected over $4,000 western union several times from them. Customer service is great and everytime I call the manager Steve knows my voice and he is very professional. As good as world wide is I dont think you should be knocking them since you have never played with them and I have.

The people at Netbetz were nice also until they decided to shut down in March and keep all our money. I would suggest reading Jeff's article in "Breaking News" regarding the Danger Zone.

This is the most blatant example of schill work that I have seen to date.Congratulations Kid and please feel free to regale us with more tales of this fine establishment.I am not judging the out you have mentioned one way or the other but you are an out and out schill,no doubt about it.Your employer would be proud.
Just curious eh,come on,give us some credit.

Sting, I understand why you might be weary of them. I have accounts with easybets, GSC, and world wide. I have been with world wide longer than any of them. I mean everything about them is good. There is no one in the business that pays faster. I would highly recommend them to everybody. The bottom line is if you send money today western union you do get paid tomorrow. I'm just saying check out there website of course you can only bet over the phone though.

crippler, for you to say that I am working for this casino is crazy. Have you know that I live 2 hours outside of Lexington, KY. I just thought I would offer a good casino that pays 2 hours after your request and does it western union. Excuse me for trying to give a good casino credit. I keep hearing how people complain how casinos send there money so I thought I might give some insight.

Kid, I apologize if I was harsh and misjudged you but I have seen this a million times and 99% of the time it is schill work. You have a guy with not many posts in this place come in and boast about a casino in a notoriously bad area, and state that it is absolutely the best he has ever dealt with, supplying web info and phone number. Then a 1/2 hour later,at 2 am I might add, somebody else, who I believe was previously unknown to this forum, comes in and based upon the word of an unknown player is immediately asking for how to get in touch with them without asking for any pertinent info.Call me a skeptic, but I will say this is schill work 100 times out of 100 and I'd be right about 99% of the time. You may be that one where I would be wrong and if so,I apologize, but this seems fishy to me.

crippler, I understand you would be weary but I used to have an account with www.paradisesportsbook.com and they ripped me out of $5,000. I was just thrilled to have a casino that pays western union I thought I would share it with everyone. The bottom line is getting paid is the most important thing and it is hard to find any casinos that will pay western union same day. I just find it hard to believe that nobody else in this forum bets through them. Maybe somebody knows something I dont, but in my experience they have been very good. I have had no problems with them.

Crippler, before you become too appologetic, here's something to consider: in Shilo's thread regarding "Sportsbook/paper in Trouble?", Hartley made it very clear that the book in question was one located in JAMAICA. Thekid requested that Hartley e-mail him with further info in fear that he may have been posted up with the book in question. With thekid knowing the CITY where his book World Wide Wagering is located, how could he not know that the other books he just mentioned (GSC and Easybets) are NOT located in Jamaica???? Thekid, not to be too hard on you but I've come to realize that another red flag waved in this forum is when people start requesting Hartley's e-mail address OR that Hartley e-mail them. Note: in a one day period, two persons (Ace and thekid) requested that Hartley e-mail them concerning the situation that was being discussed. Both thekid and Ace had Hotmail addresses. Under the circumstances, there's every reason to be skeptical. Please explain why you would think Hartley was talking about a book you were posted up with when 1) he clearly stated this book was located in Jamaica?
2) you mentioned 2 other books that you are posted up with that are very upfront as to where they are operating from which is NOT Jamaica and 3) you seem very aware of where this one book (World Wide Wagering) is located in terms of the city, but do not even know the country in which your other 2 books are located?????? Please forgive me for being just as suspicious as Crippler http://www.bettorsworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sting, what are you a private investigator or something? This is getting out of hand, all I tried to do was give what I think is good info on a casino that pays western union on same day of request and your giving me the third degree. For one as I mentioned before I was with a casino that I got burned in. I just was hoping for info so I wont get burned again. By the way I dont care if anyone joins World Wide, I was just telling people about it and that they western union. Give me a f***in break.

Sting, by the way what in the hell do I want with Hartley's email address. I also emailed Brian asking him the same questions and about my other sportbooks I go through too because I read the danger zone and just wanted to be careful.

Crippler. I understand your concern over the thought of someone abruptly asking how to get a hold of a certain casino/sportsbook without getting any information on them.Does it mean that I'm going to sign up with them because of one person's opinion? I don't think so. I like to keep all my options open, and if it means trying out a new book once in a while. I'll take my chances. If the info is out there, than the public can base their own opinion.

thekid, you still did not answer my question.
FYI, that little section of the Carribean (Grenada and Dominica) have been like the Iraq of the offshore world so your coming in here recommending a book from that area is bound to raise suspicions. A lot of guys have gotten burnt using books from these 2 islands and those "licensing bodies" did not seem to give a damn. Also, in the past Hartley has received numerous threats by e-mail after his address was given out in this forum so your request for him to e-mail you stands out like a sore thumb regardless of your intentions. You need to be aware of these 2 things since you're new to this forum. Take my advice, stick with the other 2 books you mentioned, Easybets and GSC, and dump World Wide Wagering. The government of Dominica, which can't stand the U.S. government, has implemented their own sportsbook....what makes you think they're going to want the competition?

STING

BTW, thekid, you responded to Crippler by stating you live outside of Lexington. I don't know if you work for them or not, however, you should realize that some of the books which claim to be operating on a particular island are in fact operating out of the states. Also, GSC pays Western Union
so World Wide Wagering is not the only book you claim to use that offers this payment option.

To THEKID: you seem sincere and well-meaning. To this point you have also been
very lucky. Get your money out of that sportsbook as soon as possible. Do it today!
Any business located on Dominica should be viewed with high suspicion and completely avoided. You say you have lost $5,000 when another sportsbook went under. This should make you more cautious and not take high risks by using a Dominica-based book.
At least do some reseach on the political and economic situation in Dominica. This is one of the most disruptable places on earth for international fraud, banking scams, and the like.

Go with a sportsbook that has been in business for several years and has a reputation for paying. Good luck to you.

Slow down Sting,
Before you implicate me in this nonsense, get the story straight. If you had an account with E S B, and heard word of the book going under, wouldn't you be concerned? I'm sorry I don't have the time (or interest) that you obviously do scour every gaming website to find out the latest word on the streets about offshore books, but I was simply looking for clarification of the issues to protect my money (now that's stupid, isn't it?). If you look through this section carefully, you will notice that I never have touted a book except for soliciting advice on solid sportsbooks that I can trust (which is what I thought this forum is for) in light of the issues with E S B. I am sorry that I asked for additional information from Hartley, it just seemed like he was well versed on the subject and it appeared that he had additional information that everyone is saying find for yourself, yet nobody is indicating where this information can be found. As for my email address being with Hotmail, it is completely rediculous and pathetic for you to draw any inferences from that. Do you expect me to tie up my email address from work with gambling trash (which I get quite frequently to my hotmail address)being sent to my account? I find it quite convienient to be able to access my email from any computer, and have no desire to receive any questionable emails to my account at work where my LAN administrator can view my email with the push of a button, you dope. I have no problem with you calling out someone who is blatantly pushing a book or service, but at least get the facts straight before you attempt to implicate me. I have sent and received emails from Crippler (sorry to implicate you) and I think he would vouch that my intentions are legit.

O.K., guys, let's calm down for a minute and I'll give you another perspective on this book. I know a large player who was with this outfit for a brief time. He said that the people there were pleasant and he always got paid on time. The problem started when he won large sums of money. The owner, who swore that they NEVER threw anyone out of there, started giving him a hard time. Instead of just saying that he didn't want his action anymore, he tried to create a hostile environment and pretty much forced the player out. The guy is a miserable old weasel and if he does business in that fashion, my advise is to STAY AWAY!!!!

fellows, I am sorry I started this up and Tim I will take that in to consideration. I think I will stick with GSC and easybets. I had no idea about world wide and I really did never have a problem but I never had more than $8,500 in my account. Hartley, I dont know why you are still getting those emails but I am just a player like all of you and you all have accused me of this crap and none of it is true.

Nothing personal. Just some info.

Easybets and Sports Interaction (SIA) are both located at Dominica. They use the same software also.

If you have account in one of the follows, be careful,

a. Sportfanatik
b. Ace Casino
c. Sportsbook.com

They are all related with each other. They have got the same bank acc# and name for you to send bank wire or western union.

This is nothing but just some friendly info.

Kid. I wasn't accusing you of sending those e-mails, quite the contrary. I just find it coincidental that the e-mails started up again when the book/paper starts losing credibility due to bouncing cheques and companies questioning its journalistic practices. Mind you I'm not accusing anybody per se http://www.bettorsworld.com/ubb/frown.gif.

Tim, I knew there had to be a horror story out there somewhere. Maybe it's just me but
I'm seeing some similiarities between this place and Bet the Net (also located in Dominica which had trouble paying its clients). thekid, assuming you are sincere, be grateful there are posters on this forum steering you in the right direction. Easybets and GSC are two of the more reliable books out there.

Hartley: it does not surprise me that the threatening e-mails have started up again. This should end soon once their internet provider starts getting the rubber checks.

Ayce: just a clarification in that Easybets and Sports Interaction have servers in the Dominican Republic, a different island than Dominica (easilly confused).

Ace: the name of your sportsbook has been censored on this site for a reason (mainly because the book you do business with will sue at the drop of a hat). They may even decide to sue YOU for finding creative ways of posting their name on this forum. Take it from Azbob, a fellow poster, his account was cancelled after mentioning them on this site.
Do us all a favor, including your sportsbook, and stop trying to find creative ways of posting their name. Good luck to you.

enough about world wide wagering. i have been with this book for 3 count them 3 years. they are what thekid said they were. they pay me when i win my 5 digit $$$. i cant say that about other books especially easybets (ezbets) whatever they want to call themselves. they bought the company from somebody else and didnt pay the back debt. as for dominica having a gov. run book, i think sting needs to keep up on his politics they nixed that idea. but that was over 2 months ago. keep up with the events sting! i want to close with three things:
1 www pays when u win
2. they have competent operators
3. they treat you just fine if u don't try to pull some bs

if thats what anybodys looking for in a book then call them.

Sting,

Ace, I also appologize for linking you with this situation, especially after you have posted much useful info in the past. It used to be a common occurence for people to request to have e-mail addresses and or have somebody e-mail them and both Hartley and myself have received threatening e-mails. As for World Wide Wagering, one need only read thebigman's response to reconsider using this book. He knows more about Dominica than thekid! "They treat you just fine if you don't try to pull some bs"??????? I think that was directed at Tim's friend. Anyway, thanks for the clarification on the Dominica government pulling the plug on their own government-run sportsbook, guess I'm not as up to date with the Dominica political activities as I should be http://www.bettorsworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

BTW, thebigman, since you're such an expert on sportsbooks, you need to realize that EZ-Bet and Easybets are 2 different companies. Easybets is based out of Ireland with a server in the Dominican Republic; and EZ-Bet is no longer in existence.
