    Dallas -2

Long winning streaks do not happen to weak teams and what differs strong teams from struggling teams is the fact that they usually bounce back fast. Dallas Mavericks winning streak of 12 games was cut yesterday when they lost to the Wizards, but we see it more as an off-night game than anything else.

Actually Dallas already bounced back yesterday when they made a furious run to catch the Wizards, but the clock run out faster. After being down by 31 points 4 minutes before the end of the 3rd quarter the Mavs were able to cut the Wizards lead down to 7 points 2 minutes before the buzzer, but still lost the game. Shooting percentage below 40% and losing rebounding by more than 10 boards are few things that won`t happen to this Mavs team 2 nights in a row. As from injury department Dallas has no injuries to report it should help their cause of playing second night in a row.

The New Jersey Nets had the streak of their own few games ago. Sadly it was a losing streak lasting for 6 games. The Nets have been able to overcome their bad stretch though taking 2 must wins against the Celtics and 76ers. The Nets will surely take those wins, but their problem of getting offensive production from someone else than Vinsanity and fill their defensive holes still remains.

We have a top team of the Western Conference holding a record of 12-5 and a 7-9 team in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. Bookies rate it as more or less an equal match-up, but we think the Mavs hold the upper hand here despite their b2b and an away game. Medium+ stakes!
