    Bulls/Bucks under 202 points

Before the start of the season many thought that now after signing Ben Wallace the Bulls will turn to a very defensive team that starts to shut down its opponents day in day out. That has not happened, as the Bulls are allowing its opponents to score 94,8 points per game, but over the last couple of weeks we have seen the Bulls making some progress defensively.

As it seems Ben Wallace`s headband problems are left behind and Big Ben is getting his usual minutes. That helps the Bulls at the defensive end and has had an obvious effect. Chicago has allowed its opponents to score 87 points as an average over the last 6 games being 5-1 over that stretch. The Bulls can be especially happy with their defensive effort in their last game against the Sonics, when they held usually high scoring Seattle on 84 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks are usually high scoring team averaging 100 points per game, but games against the Bulls have been a different story. Last year those teams met 4 times with scores being 93-92, 91-105, 91-97 and 104-88. Chicago and the Bucks have already met in this season when the Bulls won 110-85. So in last 5 games scores have been below the line offered for today. This comparison with last year is adequate as the only important change over the off-season has been Ben`s addition to the Bulls, which obviously favours even lower scoring games.

One thing the Bulls know is that they can`t win the games against the teams like Bucks if they try to overshoot them. As last 6 games have shown the Bulls are successful when keeping scores low. We expect the Bulls to dominate the tempo, seriously limit the Bucks scoring and game staying below 202 points. Medium (-) stakes.
