Kansas City Chiefs (7-6) @ San Diego Chargers (11-2)
    Sunday, 8:15 pm Eastern
    NBC
    Opening Line: Chargers – 8.5

The Kansas City Chiefs will be playing this Sunday without their long time owner Lamar Hunt who died late Wednesday night after a long battle with cancer. He was 74. Hunt is an NFL icon who had a huge heart and was loved by everyone in Kansas City and beyond. He moved the Dallas Texans to Kansas City in 1963 and was a major part of the old AFL and played a big part in making the NFL what it is today. The AFC championship trophy is named after him. "He was one of the most considerate, one of the most thoughtful and one of the most visionary people you could ever deal with," former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue said. The Chiefs may have a little extra motivation this week and San Diego could be flat after clinching the division last week. SBG Global reports that smart money is still pushing on the Chargers at home, laying the points.

Stopping LaDainian Tomlinson won’t be easy though. Tomlinson has 29 total touchdowns this season, one more than Shaun Alexander's record of 28 set a year ago. He is second in the NFL with 1,427 yards rushing, just five behind Kansas City's Larry Johnson. "I believe he's the finest running back I've ever seen in professional football," Chargers coach Marty Schottenheimer said. "At this time, in this era, I think he's the very best."

The Chargers are an 8.5 point favorite with a total of 47.5 at SBG Global.

The last team to hold him to beat San Diego was Kansas City, which held Tomlinson to 66 yards on 15 carries in a 30-27 win on Oct. 22. The Chargers are 6-0 at Qualcomm Stadium this season, winning by an average of 16.5 points. San Diego is trying to match the franchise record for victories in a season. Two years ago, the Chargers went 12-4 and won the AFC West.

Kansas City trails Cincinnati and Jacksonville by one game in the wild-card race and is tied with Denver and New York. The Chiefs have lost six of their past eight games in San Diego and are 2-4 on the road this season. Kansas City is 6-1 ATS their last seven vs. a team with a winning record and they are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. the AFC West. The Chiefs are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games as a road underdog. The Chiefs are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 meetings in San Diego but the underdog is 8-2-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings between the two teams.

The Chargers are 12-4-3 ATS in their last 19 vs. the AFC West.
They are 11-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

The Under is 9-2 in the Chiefs last 11 vs. the AFC West. The Under is 4-1 in the Chiefs last 5 games overall and it is 4-1 in their last 5 vs. the AFC. It is also 6-2-1 in the Chiefs last 9 games as a road underdog. The Over though is 18-6 in the Chiefs last 24 games in December. The Over is 8-1 in San Diego’s last 9 games overall. The Over is 6-1 in the Chargers last 7 games as a favorite. The Under is 4-1 in the Chargers last 5 night games. The Under is 10-3 in the Chargers last 13 vs. the AFC West.

    Jacksonville Jaguars (8-5) @ Tennessee Titans (6-7)
    Sunday, 1:00 pm Eastern
    CBS
    Opening Line: Jaguars – 3.5

The Jacksonville Jaguars will try and stay in good position for the playoffs this week as they take on a red hot Tennessee Titan team that is looking to win their fifth straight. Although the Titans have been hot, SBG Global reports that the gambling public believes Jacksonville will cool them off.

Jacksonville rushed for a franchise-best 375 yards in a 44-17 rout of the Colts last week. The Jags' rushing total tied for the second-best in the NFL since the 1970 merger. It could be another field day for the Jags on the ground because Tennessee ranks near the bottom in rushing defense as well. They are allowing 140.9 rushing yards per game and they are last in the league in total defense at 364.4 yards per game. The Jaguars ran for 173 yards in 37-7 win over the Titans on Nov. 5th.

Tennessee has lost the last three meetings to Jacksonville but it is a different Titans team now. They're looking to win five in a row for the first time since 2003. Titans quarterback Vince Young is now 8-1 ATS as a starter. He had a 38-yard touchdown run in overtime for a 26-20 win at Houston last week.

Jacksonville is a 3 point road favorite with a total of 41 at SBG Global.

The Jaguars are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on Grass. They are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games in December. They are a rotten road favorite though going 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games as a road favorite. The Jaguars are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Tennessee.

The Titans are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games on Grass. They are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. They are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. the AFC. They are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the AFC South.

The Under is 5-2 in the Jaguars last 7 games on Grass. The Under is 5-2 in the Jaguars last 7 road games. The Over is 9-4-1 in Jacksonville’s last 14 games as a road favorite. The Over is 7-1-1 in the Titans last 9 games on Grass and it is 7-1 in their last 8 games as a home underdog. The Over is 4-1 in the Titans last 5 vs. the AFC. The Over is 6-2-1 in the Titans last 9 vs. a team with a winning record and it is 10-4 in their last 14 games in December. The Over is 35-17 in the Titans last 52 home games.

    Dallas Cowboys (8-5) @ Atlanta Falcons (7-6)
    Saturday, 8:00 pm Eastern
    NFL Network
    Opening Line: Cowboys - 3

The Cowboys hit a speed bump last week against New Orleans and will try and get back on track this week against an Atlanta Falcons team that is fighting for its playoff life and also fighting through injuries. SBG Global reports that the gambling public believes the Cowboys will get back on the winning horse taking Dallas on the road, laying the points.

The NFL Network gets what should be a very good prime time game on Saturday night. Word out of Atlanta has both Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood questionable for the game. The Falcons can't stop the pass so Tony Romo may have a big day. With a little help the Cowboys could clinch a playoff spot this weekend. If they win and the New York Jets beat Minnesota, then either New Orleans would have to beat Washington or Pittsburgh would have to beat Carolina to put Dallas into the playoffs.

"From here on, it's almost like it's a playoff game every week," Romo said. "We need to be ready to go this week and we will." The Cowboys defense also slipped last week giving up 536 yards of total offense to the Saints, the most ever against the Cowboys at Texas Stadium.

Dallas is a 3.5 point road favorite with a total of 43.5 at SBG Global.

The Falcons have won consecutive games for the first time since October but they still trail New Orleans by two games in the NFC South. A loss against Dallas would pretty much end their chances. Falcon’s kicker Morten Andersen could become the NFL's all-time leading scorer Sunday. He has 2,433 points, one shy of Gary Anderson's league record.

The Falcons have gone under in six straight games. The Cowboys have been very poor as road chalk going 8-23-1 their last 32 games laying points on the road. Falcons though are not a good home dog going 3-8-1 their last 12 getting points at home. The Cowboys are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 night games. The Falcons are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The Over may be the way to go since Dallas is an Over team on the road going 6-1-2 in their last 9 road games and the Over is 8-3-1 in Atlanta's last 12 home games. The Over is also 8-2-2 in the Cowboys last 12 night games.

Philadelphia Eagles (7-6) @ New York Giants (7-6)
    Sunday 4:15 pm Eastern
    FOX
    Opening Line: Giants - 5.5

The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles play a critical game this weekend in a battle to see which team has a better shot at making the playoffs. The Giants snapped a four-game losing streak last Sunday, beating Carolina 27-13 and Philadelphia held off Washington 21-19. SBG Global that the betting public is split on who will actually win this game.

Both teams are tied for second place in the East, a game behind Dallas. The Giants and Eagles are also tied with Atlanta for the NFC's two wild-card berths. The Eagles can win the division though if they win out because they have a matchup left against Dallas. The Giants are in just as desperate shape this week, perhaps even more so.

"I think we are very much aware of the situation we are in," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. "We have to play ourselves into what is being said in Philadelphia, Dallas and Atlanta, and other places that are looking at this opportunity. It's something you are in control of, and you have to play well enough to give yourself continued opportunities."

The Giants will be looking to sweep Philadelphia. New York won 30-24 in overtime at Philadelphia three months ago, outscoring the Eagles 17-0 in the fourth quarter and winning in overtime. Things have changed since that matchup though. Eagles Quarterback Jeff Garcia improved to 2-1 since taking over for Donovan McNabb. He has thrown for seven TDs and no interceptions in three games as the starter. "This is a team that is definitely coming together at the right time," Garcia said. "We're a team that's not necessarily playing perfect football at times, but we're competitive and battling."

The Giants are a 5.5 point favorite with a total of 43.5 at SBG Global.

The Eagles are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. the NFC but they are 3-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and they are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. the NFC East. Philly is also only 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 road games and they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog. The Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings between the two teams.

The Giants are 7-2-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. the NFC East. The Giants are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games on Grass.

The Over is 5-0 in the Eagles last 5 games as an underdog. The Over is 11-1-1 in the Eagles last 13 vs. a team with a winning record. The Over is 5-1-1 in the Eagles last 7 vs. the NFC East. The Under is 7-1-1 in the Giants last 9 home games. The Under is 6-1 in the Giants last 7 games as a home favorite. The Over is 4-1-1 in the Giants last 6 vs. the NFC East. The Under is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings in New York.
