OSU vs Florida - Effect of the long layoffs?

I wonder how the long layoff periods will affect the timing of these teams. OSU has not played a game since the Michigan game on Nov 18th....that's over 6 weeks!!! And for Florida, it was the SEC championship on Dec 2nd. The last few years the layoffs were 4 weeks or less. Any opinions? I'm thinking the defenses may rule.

Have to think the offence of both teams will strugle just like in the USC and MICH game. Could end up low scoring in the first half???

I would think it would take OSU a little longer to get on track. Florida not only played two weeks AFTER OSU went on xmas vacation, they played a meaningful game. A championship game. That has to have an affect on their game. Florida +1/2 in the firat quarter and maybe +4 for the first half may be worth a look.
