    Effective Immediately...

After careful consideration, Pinnacle Sports have chosen to voluntarily exit the U.S. market. Accordingly, wagers will no longer be accepted from clients within the U.S. as of Thursday, January 11, 2007.

Those clients who are affected will be required to withdraw their balances using the Cashier of their account. We assure all our clients your balances are available and Pinnacle will continue providing our international clients our same great value.

If you are only looking for one book, I would probably suggest a book like cris or bodog. Maybe wsex. Those books seem intent on staying. I would think they would become even stronger than they are too, since they will get some of pinnacles players.

I myself am NOT going to put money in any account because I think ALL books will be doing the same thing sooner or later...JMO...I want to open a Bank account in Mexico but you need a FM3 to do so ( A good friend of mine has a residence in Mex... .. My next step is to try and open an account in Canada, I don't know yet what I need to do that......I really think it is a matter of time before online betting is OVER here in the States.......

                  Forget Canada

You can only bet parlay cards no straight bets.

Fast Jack. You could get around it if you had your friends open the account AND place the bets for you. You won't be able to bet from the US at Pinnacle because they will block all usa IP addresses.

You could also get around that by using a proxy or a long distance dial up. So, yeah, you could get around it, but it would seem like less trouble to just play some place where your welcome.

                    Just my two cents.

toopieaire, I think rick was referring to opening a canada bank account to get around the us banking laws. Not to play Canadas parlay cards. Do they still have them?

Brink, you are right. I do not want to play those shitty parlay cards I was just wondering what I need to do if I were to open a Bank account in Canada if that's what I decide to do.......

The sudden departure -- in the middle of the NFL playoffs -- is very curious. You'd think they would have waited until next month if they could.

Maybe the American bettors are too smart for them....

I found out that Pinnacles sudden departure was due to the owner of Pinnacle residing in the US. Maybe someone else can give more details. I dont know how reliably this is though.
