Illinois host # 23 Indiana and are a 1.0 opening chalk
There is plenty of Bad blood between these schools
fueld by the recent decommit from Illinois
of 6-4 shooting phenom Eric Gordon to Indiana...
He chose to play for Sampson, who has hired
a few of Eric Gordons friends as assistants in various areas
for Indiana.. You can bet the farm that the Orange
Crush fan section will display no Love to Coach Sampson..
But it all comes down to the floor, the hard court
and the players when the tip arrives....
A LOOK AT THE HOOSIERS..............
Riding a 5 game winning streak this team found itself
this morning ranked # 23 today, after impressive
wins vs UCON at UC and Iowa....
Led by Junior Forward DJ White (Big 10 player of the week)
14.3 a game this season, DJ is feeling his game,
Against Iowa and UCon (last 2 games)
DJ scored 22 pts a game, 7.5 rebounds
and 2.5 blocks (Now that is a SOLID PLAYER)
Defense ranked number one in the Big Ten from the
arc, holding opponents to just 28% from afar....
Indy can shoot the rock from outside, they are not afraid
to shoot it and have made 10 or more treys

Illinois coming off a punch to the mouth
at home vs #2 Wisky....They gave it everything
they had and in the end lost again, only this time
it felt better due to effort....
Illinois is Hurting (what's new) well they have
a few new injuries to saddle up along side
the old....
Brian Randle is not expected to play he is
suffering from Plantar Faciitis. He did not practice
Sunday or Today....(Plantar Faciitis is Heel Pain)..
Shaun Pruit the battleship inside is nicked with
a knee injury, leaving the Wisky game to return
he also is questionable and did not practice Sunday
or today
Chester fraizer.....Did not practice Sunday or today....

Illinois is hurt, Coach Weber was on the his weekly
radio show and you could hear the dejection in
his voice as he spoke about injuries and lack
of practice time.....At one point in practice he looked
over to a kid in the stands and said HEY You wanna play?
Indiana is starting to come together as a team
and I would bet that SAMPSON will have this
team ready to play and handle this racous Illini crowd
If Illinois was healthy Indiana would have their
hands full, but If is the largest word in the dictionary....
