  • ILLINOIS -2.0 vs Michigan State (Tuesday)

Illinois opens up as a 2.0 chalk at home vs
    Michigan State....

What a tough game to Cap.......a view from the Floor

    A Look at Illinois

A Banged up, dented squad, all wearing
ace bandages, ice packs and the trainer
    is the best friend.......

On the road they are sad, at home good enough
to clamp down on Indiana (47 total points allowed) for a win.

Shaun Pruitt the 6-11 Battleship down low is
finding his game, last 3 games the big fella
has averaged 14pts a game and snagged 13 boards
    a game....(thats with a knee injury) ...

Jamar Smith (Illinois super outside threat before
injury) is now shooting at epic porpotions....
Last 7 games he is 5 for 44 from the field....

Think about that a minute 5 for 44, to make matters
worse he is 2 for 33 from 3 point land, when both
ankels heal this kid will find the lift he needs until
    then ..................?

Carpets Floor View of the SPARTYS

MSU coming off a really tough ROAD loss
to Ohio State, trailing by 20 only to lose by 2

Coach Izzo said "We gave it all we had, There
is no way we could play another 5 minutes"

I agree with the Coach he is correct, MSU
also is not a great road team, but gave it all
    against OSU .......

Control Nietzel and you control MSU.......

    CARPETS VIEW AND PICK

Serving Home Court in the Big Ten is
    JOB ONE......

    Illinois is 103-7 at home a .936 win %
this decade, so serving home court is what Illinois does
    very well...

Illinois matches up extremely well with MSU
advantage to Illinois inside, all day long

MSU is 3rd in the league allowing 24 rebounds a
game, this bodes well for the inside game of Illinois...

I look for a CLAMP DOWN defensive battle
with Illinois covering the 2 ....

    Good Luck all
