Illinois continues to nurse injuries both old
and new, the trainer has become more important
than the coach.
Chester Fraizer, Illini point Guard has a new injury
before the game with Michigan State Coach Weber
was asked by the trainer..........Coach would you rather
play Fraizer vs MSU or rest him for Minny ...You cant
have both......Weber chose to play Chester and play
the kid did........He is doubtful for the game vs Minny.

Jamar Smith PG continues the dissmal display of shooting
from the arc now 2 for 35 from 3 point land, the
only positive is he only shot 2 times last game
missing both badly...
Free Throw Shooting is really tough to watch
shooting 16-31 vs MSU last game. The Bigs
for Illinois are called Baby Shaq for the skill
level of making free shots....
Illinois Defense last 6 games has held the Opposition
to 57.2 pts a game, they rank 24th in the Nation
in Scoring DEFENSE at 59.6 a game
A LOOK AT THE GOPHERS
Center Tollakson out last 6 games
is questionable for this game ...

Minny has played much better ball
the last 2 games, winning 2 in a row
last game a 62-57 win vs Northwestern
at NW.....
Northwestern plays a princeton style
of play very deliberate to the point of nausea
and they scored 62 in a tough tough place.
The Inside play of Minny has really been
bolsted as the young players step in and
get more PT
Mckenzie 16.0 ppg is solid, he will get his pts.
