I am optimistic that we'll end up eventually getting paid. I am in the neteller boat as well for a big chunk.

They have the money. Unlike sportsbooks that go out of business, Neteller made a fortune. They were printing money. The 55 million currently frozen is a drop in the bucket of what their cash postion is.

At this point, I don't think it's a witch hunt to get individual gamblers. Considering most gamblers lose, and most of those with accounts sent money thru neteller that they ALREADY paid taxes on, then lost, then took the rest back via neteller, no problem there.

I don't think the doj cares that John Q Public bet on a few games.

If the IRS ends up involved down the road, then yeah, there will be some players getting audited.

I think you'll see your money someday.

I kinda feel it will happen someday, too. Just not soon.

I think if you made payments through your credit card see if you can dispute the payment. This may or may not work but it is worth a try. My gut feel is that most players will not see their money back. Think about it, it is a computer program that generates + or - depending on what you play but the actual cash is deposited into the company's bank account. Since it is not regulated, the boss' can do whatever they want with the funds. I am not being negative on this situation but if they were going to pay you back wouldn't you think you would have received an explanation by now?
