Two Illinois Basketball Players Hurt in a Car Crash

Brian Carlwell remains in critical but stable condition
for a severe concussion.

Jamar Smith (Sharp Shooter Sophmore) was
also in the car, he was treated for a minor
concussion and released

The Roads were slick with snow just before
1 am when the car struck a telephone pole
at 20 mph.........

Coach Weber spent the night in the hospital
with Carlwell's family...

Please extend prayers to Brian and his family
to pull thru like a warrior in this freak accident...

Jamar Smith released had a slight concussion
that might explain why after sliding into a
telephone pole he drove to the dorm 1 mile
away before receiving medical attention

It took 20 minutes to get the Big Man
Carlwell 6-11 into a ambluance.........

rumor has it the kid may be in street clothes watching

JAMAR SMITH has left the team for the rest of the
year to deal with his personal life....

Jamar had a phenom Frosh Year, but this year
this kid couldnt hit the ocean from 3 point land
5-51 from the arc....
