Looks like an exciting finish and more names need to be italicized!

A lot of us took a loss this week and things have tightened up. Arizona, Baltimore and the Giants took a number of us down this week.

The final pick and tiebreaker (Super Bowl o/u or total points) is usually done by secret email to Jeff to avoid leaders waiting until the last minute to take advantage of the other guy's pick.

I thought it usually ended after week 15... with numerical capper order being the tiebreaker.

NFL Game of the Week

Official Rules:

1. Players in this contest will post one pick per week using the official line. If more than
one pick is posted the first pick will be used. Editing picks will not be allowed. Once your
pick is posted it is official.

2. Sides or totals picks MUST be posted by advertised NFL kickoff time, not actual kick
off time. Example 1:00-4:00-4:15-8:30-9:00 etc. NO EXCEPTIONS !

3. The official line will be posted by Thursday. This is the only line allowed.

4. Wins, loses and ties will be recorded and posted on Tuesdays. (hopefully)

5. Not posting a pick will be counted as a loss.

6. Three weeks without posting a pick and you are out of the contest

7. A tie breaker will be used in the Super Bowl game if needed.

8. A list of official contest players will be posted beginning week #3.

9. Players will "NOT" be allowed in after week #2.

10. If you come in on week #2, week #1 will be counted as a loss

11. Prizes will be supplied by Bettorsworld.

12. 1st place $1000 / 2nd place $500 / 3rd place $250 / 4th place $250

13. 21-0 =$10,000.00

14. Best record possible is 21-0. Seventeen regular season games, 1 wild card game, 1
divisional playoff game, 1 conference championship game and the Super Bowl. A total of
21 picks.

I note that on the NFL Week 15 results (above) that you posted Dinger’s results as 11 wins and 4 losses The week before (NFL Week 14) Dinger’s results were 10 wins and 4 losses. For week 15, Dinger selected NO (which I assume was New Orleans @ +2.5) I believe that the Chicago Bears beat New Orleans 27 -24 in Week 15. How did Dinger go from 10 wins to 11 wins?

Could you clarify the latest rules as far as posting deadlines?

My understanding is that with our mid-season rule change, one can post any time as long as it is before game time, whether that is the early games, late games or night game.

Is that correct?

The NO Saints – Chicago Bears game started at 8:15 pm on 12 –11 -08 and the line was NO @ +2.5.

The final score was Chicago Bears 27 – NO Saints 24 in OT, thus, NO Saints did not cover and Dinger should not have been given the win. Once again, if I’m wrong, please chime in and that includes Dinger and anyone else (especially all of those with a 12-5 record. If I’m right, then the leaders for the NFL GOW #17 results should be corrected accordingly.
