I did not post the IU/NW game, because when I got home it was almost game time. There was great value with IU. NW has been overvalued with the W again Mich. St. which really surprised me. They have played Purdue tough at home, however, Purdue was sloppy with the ball. Granted they are 2-2 at home with wins over Minnesota and IU. IU is horrible handling the ball and had 22 turnovers in the game. Minnesota turned it over 18 times.
Wisconsin, on a five game losing streak. There last win, it was against Northwestern. That game was dominated by Wisconsin. Wisconsin was up by 9 at the half and out scored NW by 20 in the second. Northwestern was out rebounded by 17. As a matter of fact, Northwestern has been out rebounded by 20 in 5 games, they are 1-4 SU in those games.
In addition, Wisconsin protects the ball 10 TO vs. Purdue, 5 against Illini, 9 against IA in OT, and 10 in the Northwestern game.
Wisconsin's five loses came to 4 top 25 teams (Purdue twice, @ Illini, OT vs. Minnesota, {lost @ Iowa in OT}).
Basically, this game is going to boil down to rebounding and turnovers. Wisconsin is going to have extra possessions by grabbing rebounds and limiting the turnovers which Northwestern capitalized on against MN and IU.
This my opinion, but I really cannot see Wisconsin losing 6 straight. I will take the point though I won't need it.
Wisconsin by 6.
