I truly appreciate your posts. All of us at BW enjoy new blood and we welcome you to our family.
I know you have dreams to start up your own sports handicapping business and I wish you well if you go down that path. Since you are new to this forum, you need to silence tooting your own horn.
If you are sucessful, you will get your own followers through respect. I earned my respect by winning the College Football pool a couple of years ago. Others like RR84 has respect from us with his thorough knowledge of the SEC. I apologize to others I may have omitted, as it was not intentional.
What is painful to see in any forum is to tell someone to bet a game big (Cincinnati +4 over Tennessee, TN is up 42-17 starting 4Q), when you do not even have a wager on the game. This was your "non-conference game of the year". Game of the Year are games that are not in doubt and cover by 14+, this game is not close, and you will lose some credibility!
I post my picks to add a little banter to the forum. Also, when I like a play, I say "consider playing". I don't expect anyone nor do I really want anyone to follow me. I look at this as sports investing. My goal this year, is to be up enough to use those funds to have a very nice seat in Indianapolis for the Superbowl this year.
It is great that you started off on a very hot streak hitting your first 6 or 7 posts. However, I cannot explain it, but the Sportsbook gods always find a way to get you back to the 50-55% range. Whether it is a back door cover, bone-head play calling, or crappy luck (that Texans/Jaguars game last year still haunts me), since we don't play we cannot control the outcome.
Just post your picks and post your record, if you are successful, people will find you and they may decide to follow you.
Continued best of luck to you!
