  • Tuesday NHL Play of the DAY

New Jersey Devils -1/2, -210 over the Pittsburgh Penguins...game starts at 7:30pm.

The Devils are one of the best teams in the league and are really tough on the road (11-4-7) vs a Pittsburgh team that isn't that great at home (7-12-3) and has the worst record in the whole NHL. New Jersey leads the season series 3 games to 1 so far, winning by scores of 2-1, 2-0, and 2-1. However, Pittsburgh won the last game 4-2 about 2 weeks ago, one of those was an empty netter and another goal new jersey put into their own net so the Penguins were lucky last time around. Look for that to change, i just can't see the defending Stanley Cup champs losing this game or even tying....look for Jersey to come out strong after being embarassed by the Penguins 2 weeks ago on their home ice, i think they'll come ready to play for this game and won't take the struggling Penguins lightly. Another possible shutout for Jersey's all-star goalie Martin Brodeur who's leading the league with 9 shutouts as Pittsburgh's offense is really weak. I usually don't play a game with such steep odds (-210) but i think this is the strongest play on the Tuesday board. Small play on the Devils for this game.

the UNDER on the over/under line looks like a solid play too as both teams play a defensive style game....the line is 5 goals, under -135.....i like the under just as much as i like the Devils to cover.....a double POD for me today.

    New Jersey -1/2, -200
    N.J/Pitts under 5, -135

    good luck

Nice call yesterday on the Blues.

I have been following your plays as you provide solid picks with good info too. Thanks for your insight. I am not a hockey capper at all but I do like the info anyone can post around here.

      Keep it up.

New Jersey wins 3-0, solid night today. I got a little worried when i seen New Jersey had rookie Scott Clemmenson in net instead of all-star Martin Brodeur but it didn't end up making a difference.
