Illinois guard Deron Williams is starting to play up to his level of excellence prior to his injury, scoring 17 points saturday.

Illinois has a huge game coming up saturday, and one must hope they dont over look this PSU team.

PSU Lions are 8-6 and 2-1 in the big 10. PSU is coming off a 76-58 pasting from Michigan State.

PSU averages 63 pts a game, (the lowest in big ten play) and average over 16 Turn Overs a game (last again in the big 10).

This is a very young team, 2 freshman starters (guards) and one Senior. Last year the Lions won just 2 big ten games.

PSU is a very tall team bosting a 6-11 forward and a 7-0 center, the senter scored only 2 points last game after being named big ten player of the week.

This is a very very young team and very inexperienced. Turnovers will be the down fall for PSU in this game along with Illinois strong inside game.

MY THOUGHTS

Illinois will pound the ball inside, creating foull trouble for PSU who is very shallow in bench depth. This will open up the 3 point shot for Illinois.

A pressure defense will force 20 turn overs and alot of easy baskets.

Illinois will roll in this game.

My numbers indicate Illinois by 20.

Illinois averages 81 a game at home while PSU is scoring only 59 a game on the road.

I am laying the floor tonight with Illinois to cover the 20 points and break a 3 game ATS losing streak.

Illinois breaks out in a big way winning by 46 points.

The wounded Bear made this team pay, and it was only a matter of time. Illinois has finally played a game 2 full halfs.

Illinois seems to have it back on track and head to Wisconsin Saturday for a Huge Big Ten show down.

Wisky holds a 19 game home winning streak and are very tough at home. Wisconsin also has 2 main players injured and will be without their services for saturdays game.

I know Illinois is fully capable of beating WISKY straight up in cheese land, this should be a good game.
