I have looked at every angle in this game, looked at piles of worthless data, hours of study, HERE WE GO.....

Illinois lowest winning margin of win victory is 5.0...The Illini are 34-1 winning by 5 or more this year...... The line is 5

It is make it or break it time for Illinois, Lets look at the Match


DEFENSE .............In one word DEFENSE wins

Arizona has size, Illinois will be able to pressure AZ alot better than OSU did..

While Arizona has size they are not as fast as Illinois and they have only one go to guy for speed, Salim Stoudamier (It wont be enough)

Illinois has held teams to 60 points a game, they are a far better team on defense than AZ

Arizona is giving up 15 turn overs a game, Illinois is forcing that same amount.

AZ shot 66% from the floor last night, that is lights out, averaging 47 % all year....Look for that to fall as Illinois D shuts it down

MAJOR CONCERN

Luther Head and is hammy ??? He must be 90% in this game for Illinois to win

The best team in the land is playing at home...(Allstate arena)

Illinois is focused on getting to the final four..It is Illinois by 5 or they go home

now THAT is Easter Love if i ever saw it!! sounds like one bitter wildcat fan that watched his team snatch defeat from the sure jaws of victory with a collapse of EPIC proportions! illini showed again the inability to knock down FTs and an inability to keep opponents off the offensive glass...just waaaay too many 2nd chance points for az in 2H. i played a small ML parlay with ILL/LVILLE/MD and feel very lucky that all three managed to escape. stoudamire was shut down, but the low post play of az expoilted illini's biggest flaw....NICE PLAY DRAWN UP BY LUTE OLSEN AT THE END OF OT......

My insight on Illinois and College Ball is solid, I only take the time to cap and post my picks here to help the board.

I have had a pretty good year here at BW in the NCAA Mens basketball

You are right you cant win them all, But when we do lose we do not expect
to be attacked verbally

I have not made a final decision on retiring from BW after 7 years


It will all come down to what my fellow members at BW have to say and if Jeff and the Boys care to put and end to this type of bashing.

I actually thought he was kidding when he posted it.

Let's chalk it up to someone over-reacting after a bad beat (on the money line) and move on.

For what it's worth, I think I've done a decent job keeping out the riff raff lately here on the site.

No more touts etc.etc. and when they do sneak in, their posts don't last long.

As far as the personal attacks or anything else that gets too far off the topic at hand (the games) we'll just delete those and move on.

The games at hand, and the members opinions on the games at hand are all that's really relevant here.

As far as Ricks feable attempt to issue an apology for calling me an ass wipe, let me tell you also Rick I lost this game too and I guess I was feeling a little thin skinned when you came mud slinging for no reason.

I spent 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, and if you call me an asswipe and idiot in the same breath within arms length, (HELP IS ONLY MINUTES AWAY)

I am not going to leave BW over the use of ass wipe when refering to me, or idiot or any other low level term the uneducated may use.
