  • NFL update from last weekend this weeks plays

My post got lost in a programming snafu here, but pissed away a great sunday afternoon (5-1) and dropped both of the night games for a 5-3 weekend.

    The record stands at 23- 11 - 1

I played Miami pretty heavy at + 2 for this week along with one unit plays on:

    Tenn +3
    NE +3
    NO +3
    Pack +4'

    Good luck fellas

Me crazy?? well thats part of it, but I just think that Miami has a slight edge in total defense and think that their LBs may be successful in containing Vick and their running game in general. I also feel that the Falcons can be somewhat exploited through the air, and that is something that I don't think the Dolphin D is too worried about happening to them.

Bottom line: If Miami can keep them at around 150 yards or less rushing, I think they win it straight up. We'll just have to see if they can do it.

          The Foots

Don't know what you guys think, but doesn't this week's NFL seem a little tougher than usual? Heck, I usually come up with 4 or 5 games that I choose from, but this week has me scratchin' my head, what with all of the injuries and substitutes, the line swings.....this ought to be a pretty interesting weekend. What I usually do is make MY OWN line before the official opening line comes out, and if anything is way off, I jump on these games....but this week, everything I drew up was either spot on, or off by a point or so.....This leaves me no advantage.....gonna have to jump on some playable College games this week and tread lightly....Good Luck to you all anyway....I enjoy sharing and getting insight from my fellow handicappers.......Boone.
          ;)

That might be the best strategy of all. They are tough, and remember that NFL stands for Not Freaking Logical. I'll take the college game over the NFL anyday of the week as both a 'capper and spectator.

Thanks for the discussion and good luck this weekend guys.

I'm with Boone on todays plays. Never really saw anything that jumped out at me. Here is what I played today:

                7-point teasers:

                SD pk/KC +3

                Philly +10/Arizona +11

                10-point total teaser:

                Chicago UNDER 44
                NY Giants OVER 33
                Washington OVER 29

                Good Luck!

Adding Philly +3 tonight, Look for the Eagles to make a statement that they can win without TO just like they did in their march to the super bowl last year.
