Several free football contests are already lined up and ready to go. We'll have more details on a special football contest page in the coming weeks. You can also check back on this page as we'll post some links and info when we have them. Don't miss out! All of our contests are free to enter!

NFL GAME OF THE WEEK CONTEST
POTENTIAL FOR OVER $65,000 IN PRIZES!!
The NFL game of the week handicapping contest is the most popular football contest on Bettorsworld.com The contest is simple. Pick ONE NFL game per week, against the spread. The winner is the handicapper with the most wins at the end of the year. The contest runs right thru the Super Bowl in February.
This contest is held in our main Bookies Hell posting forum. Picks are posted in the appropriate thread each week, and standings are generally posted on Tuesdays.
This contest is not only popular to participate in, but also very popular among those looking for quality free picks. The reason for this is very simple. There's some great handicappers in this contest, and each week, you're getting their very best play!
The prizes for this contest are as follows :
1st place - $400
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $150
4th place $125
5th place $75
10k Bonus to anyone going 21-0

We're also going to sweeten the pot this year. Bettorsworld once again has a team entered in the Hilton Contest in Las Vegas. The 1st place prize last year in this contest was over $200,000 and was won by an internet sites posting forum! So, not only will Bettorsworld have a team in the contest, but we will donate our portion (1/5th of the prize) of any prize money to the NFL GAME OF THE WEEK contest to be divided among the winners. (top 10 finishers)\
Distributed as follows :
1st place - 20% of the Hilton prize (the bworld share)
2nd - 15%
3rd - 10%
4th - 10th 7%
We will also have two teams in the Carib handicapping contest. One of those teams will also be competing for the winners of the NFL game of the week contest. (70k first prize guaranteed, of which bettorsworld will donate it's share, 1/5th, to the top 10 finishers if the NFL game of the week contest) Same distribution as above.

The COLLEGE FOOTBALL game of the week handicapping contest is just like the NFL game of the week contest. The contest is simple. Pick ONE COLLEGE FOOTBALL game per week, against the spread. The winner is the contestant with the most wins at the end of the year. The contest runs right thru the last regular season college game in December.

LAST MAN STANDING CONTESTS
Another bettorsworld original contest and won that has caught on across the internet is the LAST MAN STANDING CONTEST. We will have one for the NFL and one for COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
This contest is always exciting to participate in because it's do or die. Each player picks one game per week. If they win, the continue on to the next round. If they lose, the are done!
The winner is obviously, the last man/woman standing.
In the event that all remaining players lose at once, they will all advance and do it again the following week. For example, if there are 4 players left, and they all lose, each one plays again the following week.
The College Football Last Man Standing Contest

PRIZES for both last man standing contests will be -
1st place $500 (the last man standing)
Here is how the prizes will work for the last man standing contests.
Winners will be awarded their prize in play money. It will then be divided into $50 units, which you will use in a designated week to wager with. So, in the case of 1st place, you will receive $500 in play money, which translates into 10, $50 wagers. You must make all of those wagers in one week. You keep all the $50 winners. So, if you go 10 for 10, you win $500. If you go 5-5, you win $250.

That's right! All you need to do to qualify, is become a Bettorsworld Posting forum member with at least 25 quality posts and you will receive a free 6 team parlay with a payoff of $100 each and every week during the regular NFL and College football season in 2006! The lines will be posted each Friday in a special posting forum which has already been set up. You then must pick 2 college games, 2 NFL games on Sunday, and the side and total of the Monday Night Football game. Just for being a member of our community in good standing. Not a bad deal, huh? There will only be ONE prize per week. The prize will fo to the 1st correct parlay, so get your plays in early!!
NFL PRE SEASON HANDICAPPING CONTEST
This contest will take place in the Bookies Hell posting forum. Contestants must pick 30 pre season NFL games. You may start at any time during the pre season, as long as you get your 30 plays in. You can pick sides or totals.
It will be winner take all. Just one winner. 1st place - $500.
The winner will be awared $500 in $50 units to be used in week one of the NFL season. You will get 10 free $50 bets on NFL sides or totals for week one of the NFL season. You keep your winners. If you go 10 for 10, you win $500. If you fo 5 out of 10, you win $250.
The winner must sign up with a bworld sponsor for $100 in order to claim this prize, and must have 20 quality posts (contest picks don't count).
We will post the lines each week during the pre season, right in the bookies hell forum. Players can make their picks, in that thread.
