  • Miami FSU Inside Scoop

By the way this is my first post. I usually just reasearch NFL and ACC football. Look forward to being a member of this community.

3 Reasons Miami will cover 3.5 at home.

    1) Weather - There is a chance it will rain before or during the game and Miami is very good at home in inclement weather.

    2) Mental Aspects - The Noles are always looking for excuses when it comes to losing against the "U." It's easy for them to accept whatever will undoubtebly happen that will turn the course of this game it always does.

    3) The Quarterbacks - Kyle Wright is very comfortable with this offense, while Drew Weatherford has never been to the Orange Bowl for a night game and look for the crowd to rattle him.

Just my opinion and I'm no tout, but I look for Miami to win by at least a touchdown. Say around 31-21

    Just my opinion.
1.Just because old Miami teams were good in bad weather that has nothing to do with this team. For all we know Weatherford might be a stud in the rain.
    2. What excuses are you talking about. Yes FSU has choked in games they should have won but I'm not sure what excuses you're talking about.
    3. Trust me Weatherford is comfortable in this offense and he has already played in louder enviroments UF, Clemson.

    Anyway welcome to bettorsworld!

These games can often be played most like the pros, Low scoring has gotten me many times as an unprofessional "take the over" bettor.

From the Bettorsworld Key Releases (3-0 this week - plug plug plug )

This was put up earlir in the week. Mostly 4's across the board now. If the number went the other way and dropped below 3 I'd become very interested in Miami. Not interested in laying more than three though.

2* Miami Fla -3 -107 (Betmania) over Florida State - When these two hook up, it's worth taking a peek at the dog as it's always close. 10-7 FSU last year. OT the year before that. a one point game in 2002. You get the picture. Figure more of the same this year as there's never a shortage of talent on either squad. But there's a couple of big motivational edges for Miami here. For starters they dominated last years game on both sides of the ball. FSU's TD came off a pick and Miami was knocking on the door with time running out and decided to settle for a game tying FG. Whoops. So Miami looking for a little revenge here. But perhaps even more of a motivational edge is the fact that Miami was embarrassed in their bowl game as they were pounded 40-3 by LSU. That loss sent shockwaves through the program and caused all kinds of off season moves by coach Larry Coker as he cleaned house getting rid of 6 assistants. Look for the Hurricane defense to dominate this one once again as Miami gets off on the right foot and gains a little revenge to boot. Canes -3!

Looks like the rain may stay away.

Dr. Ray the excuses I was referring to are just that "the chokes" in Tally it's almost expected for them to choke against the Canes and therefore easily excused.

I guess late miami money has this game at Canes -4 - I really liked it better at -3 but they'll still cover.

Everybody is going to be on the under because of the defenses?? in this game and of course the bad weather. No one can say absolutely for sure who will win this game because both teams lost a lot of players and Miami has suspended Tyrone Moss, Rashaun Jones, Ryan Moore and linebacker James Bryant. Neither quarter impressed me last year and who are the for sure weapons this year. We might find out tonight that neither team is a great team just like last year.
