As a matter of fact there are about 4 or 5 games that send "visions of sugarplums dancing in my head", but I've been a little reluctant to post lately -- having cooled off the way I have...........Not making excuses or anything, but the lines have had pretty heavy movement 48 hours or so leading up to the games for the past 3-4 weeks.........Injuries, but mainly weather is the cause for a lot of this (it's that time of year)...........You saw that line last night fluctuating all over
the place with the OVER/UNDER starting at 37.5, dipping down to 33.5, then back up to 34.5 and the game ending up right at 34........The "books" are getting a lot sharper of late, like they always do as the regular season winds down.

I point all of this out since 70% of my handicapping is based on line reading and movement.

I think I'll post a few of my thoughts on this weekend's games in a separate thread tonight or Saturday night......Including Sunday night's big one between your Cowboys and the Saints.

Aside to Jphel: I understand that your Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders are pissed off because they came in 2nd to my "Raiderettes" in a poll conducted by a men's magazine as to who had the finest ladies on the sidelines.............Looks like we might have to change their names to the "Jealous" Cowboy Cheerleaders..............

After posting a few weeks of L's, I have a pretty good run going on in my thread. I'm really confident in this weeks picks. I have a few more to add but Im not going crazy yet. Man I am so high on my cowboys right now. I flip on ESPN last night and sure enough theres TO giving an interview. Making papers etc.... You know the man is definitely not the brightest crayon in the box. I am 1000% TO backer and you cant talk me off of it either. For some reason after listening to the little clip that was shown, I never interpreted Owens to say that he doesn't trust anyone in the locker room. Jibberish. Hey hope everyone has a safe weekend.

See how it is?.......Now that the Cowboys are winning, the media will create all kinds of horseshit stories just because it comes with the territory...........You don't see any cameras and microphones in the Raiders locker room, now do you?...........Get use to it, T.O is just warming-up......Wait till the post season.

Honestly Boone do you really think he is about to explode? I think this is a setup. Really want to hear what was said in the Owens/Irving interview. I dont think that Irving would bait him like most do. Im going to be there on Christmas Day and he better not be the talk. But i still love the guy.

Boone Moone, I have been visiting this website for several months , but never registered until now. You crack me up. At first, I thought you were a little over the top, but I saw how you called FBpicks out! Where is he now? I haven't seen a post in several weeks. I consider myself a recreational, small stakes gambler with a pretty good understanding of the system (Unfortunately I know I will probably lose in the long run), and when he started saying he never had a losing weekend I knew he was full of it. I have learned alot from you guys and will start posting now to get some feedback from you. Thanks for keeping it entertaining.

Thanks and welcome aboard.............You're right, I am a little over the top at times, but I have fun with it............I sometimes border on cocky and crass, but you can't say I don't tell it like it is............I'm not a big fan of stats or trends, since that stuff just tells you what already happened, not what's gonna happen today.............I look more at opening lines (because I make my own) and subsequent line movement and other intangibles that other handicappers have probably never heard of.........it works for me.

Myself and some others on here tend to put some guys in their place, 'cause this is no site for bullshitters.......We all win some, we all lose some...........We post our stuff for fun (and sometimes profit), but anybody telling you that they win all the time is full of it.............I've been going at this for 40 years now, and know personally of ONE guy that makes a living at it.

We all know how to pick winners, but if you can't handle a bankroll, it doesn't matter..........Money management is the key................Good Luck to you sir.
