    NCAA Hoops--

    My record before new years was about .500. 47-46 or soemthing like that. I took some time off but won a few yesterday.

    I am going to start fresh at 0-0 and be more selective and see what happens. My record is basically that on my previous posts so I am basically making it easier for me to keep in the forum.

    Wednesday:

    Evansville +9 over UNI...Good team. UNI wins but only by a few.

    Minnesota +4 over Purdue...Decent Big 10 home dog.

    Towson +7 over VCU...Decent home conference dog here too.


    Looked at Gonzaga at Virginia but the line seems fishy to me. And also Colorado at home vs. UCF.

    Forgot one:

    Florida State -1 vs. Clemson....One of those unranked favored over ranked plays. and strong ACC Home doggy.

        3-1 to start the new year off right!

        FSU was a tought game that could have went either way. I think Clemson may be for real this year!

          2 so far for Thursday:

          Murray State +1 at Tenny State...Better team even on the road.

          Detroit pk at Miscy-Mil...Same theory as above.

          Breaking down the Iowa/Michigan State game now. May look under the 126. Having a hard time guaging this Iowa team this year. No real chemistry that I can see and there best scorer, Huluska, is too streaky. Digging a bit deeper and I will see whgat I can find. Big 10 home teams are always tough especially if you have any sort of talent like Iowa does.

          Any Michigan State guys out there to shed sopme light on their team?

            Juts saw this on another site regrading Michigan State:

            Raymar Morgan and Maurice Joseph, MSU’s starting wing combination, are both out for this one as they continue to nurse stress fractures.

            Was teatering back and forth and this news helps me pull the trigger on Iowa. MSU back-ups are a true freshman and a walk-on. They will have to try to guard Huluska and I think he may go off without all the defensive pressure the other guys would have given him. Plus playing at a rowdy Carver Hawkeye Arena where the crowd will be pumped for the start of big 10 play.

              A lot that I like today!

              Adding:

              Drake +5 vs. SIU...Drake is a tough place to play. Drake has great offensive numbers to go against SIU's tough D. Can see Drake winning SU.

              Illinois-Chicago +2 over Wright State...Run and Gun UIC against a average, inconsistent Wright team. UIC's coach has taken a break and heard from 'a source' that the team is coming together without him. I actually have very distant contact with one of the UIC asst. coaches.

                  One more:

                  Weber State -3 over Idaho State...seems too obvious to me.


                  Illinois chicgo tanked, murray state is sucking, but Iowa is hanging in there wiht a lead.
