  • MORE Bad NEWS for the 'Boys.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN's Michael Smith.

Romo initially was diagnosed with a pinkie sprain in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, the Cowboys' holder on kicks, is Romo's backup.

Roy should be a great addition to a potent air attack, now if Only Johnson can get them the ball.
        good luck

Nice for Dallas to mortgage the future for 1 player today. Jerry must be getting old and knows his opportunity... is he must win it this year...good luck with that.

Nice call bringing Pac-Man to the Cowboys also...he paid great dividends.

Goodluck Cowboy fans. Its like watching the Yankees implode all over again.

          Oh boy is this great!!!

            Dinger,
Im beginning to think one of two things. Your either are a buffalo fan that was bent over by the boys in the 90's or a cardinal fan. Which one is it. Be honest!
Im getting a bit aggravated at your post recently and have try to ignore you. You either post some sub par system plays or you bash my boys. Why dont you add a little intelligence to the conversation for a change. No one really cares about your negative thoughts. You have to ask yourself before you post next time, Does this make anyone better off? JMO
            Good Luck

Oh yeah, look at the Pac Man trade we lost nothing! We gambled and it didnt pay off yet. Who cares we get our draft picks back. It was a win win situation.

                Lighten-up Francis

Point blank...hate the Cowboy and Yankees. Cowboy fan finds some excuse about how they lost. How about this newsflash...you got beat by a better team.

I love the fact that Dallas is over inflated and thats why you see smart pros jump against them like the Hilton contest...or a 7 point difference in my system compared to Vegas (Cards / Cowboys) (Posted).

Cowboys have issues and could miss the playoffs if not careful.

My system has Cowboys favored 14 points this week.
(however Romo status???). I'd still put a small play on them.

First off if you noticed I was calling for them to lose since the Cincy game. They pulled that one out. Lost to arizona. Oh well. I havent made excuses I saw it coming and excepted it. Actually you cried more about the calls than any dallas fan this week. So please spare us all. So please go cheer for Kurt Warner for the rest the year and wonder what it would be like to go to the super bowl make the or even make the playoffs.

                        J-Pal,

Not that you asked for my two cents or anything, but your 'Boys should win this week at home......Of course it's all contingent on the playing status of T.Romo, but they look to be about a 3-point favorite without him and about a touchdown favorite with him...........I believe this is more of an indication that Tampa Bay has it's problems playing away from home, than the fact that if Romo doesn't go, you'll have to deal with Brad "The Mermaid" Johnson again..........Your 'Boys will be in deep shit again if he gets the start.........He is simply immobile in the pocket -- as if someone glued his legs together.

Either way, it's "put up or shut up" time for Dallas, after getting head-butted by the Rams last week, Romo's inept start, T.O being T.O., "Pacman" Jones in alocholic re-hab..........It looks like the sky is falling in Dallas..........Whether anyone will admit it or not, this is the turning point in the season for the team..........I believe they will make a statement here.........Good Luck.

Best "early looks" appear to be the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49er's this week..........Giants have always been a good road team, and you're getting a couple of points with Plaxico Burress returning to face the team that didn't want him anymore.........We've all seen this before.............49er's good home team advantage here making first start for new head coach Mike Singletary against a hapless Seattle Seahawk team that has definitely seen better days..........Good Luck Pal.

                        ;)

Good info Boone. I also like San Francisco a lot in that game.

And yes, if Brad Johnson starts there's no way the Cowboys win IMO. Their best bet in that case would be to just snap it to Marion Barber every time, or do this . Johnson would be good for 3 more picks vs that Tampa Bay secondary that's got 12 INT's already. He'd probably be good for a fumble too.

In my house we are not allowed to speak of the statue. If he starts again I will not watch. Right now I would rather have Bledsoe or Quincy. We would have been better off with anyone... My thoughts I have none Im speechless Im embarrassed to be seen in Cowboy gear. If Johnson starts I drop my whole bankroll on TB. Worse thing I have ever seen in my life. This is whats going to happen. If the cowboys continue there nonchalant losing ways heads will roll in big d. Now let me remind you Jerry has a special little assistant that at the moment Im not to fond of. If he hires him it will be a mistake. Hire Bill Cowher. i guarantee he will come out of retirement to coach the cowboys. Thats my thoughts at the moment I can not even look at this weeks game with all the uncertainty. I feel like a KC fan at the moment or better yet a raiders fan. I dont know where to even start.
                            1. What exactly does Wade Phillips Do? He doesnt call defensive or offensive plays. I guess he just gives interviews. Hes more of a Dr. Phill than a coach. I have some weird feeling he gives the players anti depressants before the game or something. After that game I would go in there and start cutting people. Send a message.
                            2. Do the Cowboys actually play defense any more?
                            3. What happened to our offensive line? It looks like a bunch of fat asses sumo wrestling. Damn it block someone.
                            4. Someone needs to be cut, I dont care who cut someone.
I was scared of whats to come once the Parcells hangover wore off. Its obvious now whats going to happen. All I know is if we lose this week heads need to roll and if B Johnson, the statue, starts again I will have to buy a new TV. Someone needs to break his leg. Why dont we bring Vinny back! Im going to calm down and come back with some type of opinion on the game.

Bill Cowher is exactly what that team needs....besides getting Romo back of course.
