Makes Tennessee -2.5 and Carolina -9.5 a little more inviting, and Arizona and Baltimore less so. The added half a point is not as big a factor for the Sunday games.

That's the problem with introducing hooks to prevent ties. It totally screws up value oftentimes. But the hooks should all go the same way. During the regular season I thought some were going the wrong way but then thought maybe his lines were just different from what I was seeing. If you're going to go both ways, who decides which game gets an added hook or a subtracted hook? Personally I'd like to just go back to ties next year.

In the end I think khandor made the right moves on the half points as the Ravens are getting the higher juice and the Carolina game has now come down to -9.5.

For clarification purposes ...

The 'line adjustments' this season in the contest have consistently been 'hooked' in the direction of the early money leans, when they've presented themselves, as such ... e.g. Baltimore +3 -120 was more than likely shifted down to Baltimore +2.5.
