Having a good run in the tourney so far and sad to see hoops ending.


Monday--

Kent State +8 over Illinois...Said I was done with Illinois after that win over Wiscy, but going back to them one more time. Probably a good one to fade me on here. Kent can either hang around and win or will get smoked. Probably should have laid off, but played it this morning on a coffee high.

Boston U -1 over Morehead State...Morehead on the road is a good fade I think. Just going on that mostly here.

Northern Colorado -1 over Pacific...Senior-led NCU team wins one more at home.

1-2 on Monday as Illinois bites me in the ass once again.

Tuesday--

UAB -4 over UNC...UNC has had a good run but this is a huge game for UAB at home and I think they roll over the heels tonight.

Iowa State (women) -10 over Wiscy-GB....ISU has the advantage of hosting this game in Ames. I always said if I bet on women's hoops I would quit betting but this is a good bet I think. I caught the end of the GB win over whoever the higher seed was they beat and they got a bit lucky to win. ISU is solid and may be an eight 8 team. They are the only women's team I know about and i do know they are solid epecially with a packed house watching them play tonight at home. Unfair advantage really for a tourney game.

Dayton +4 over Illinois....Think this one is a good match upo and Illinois is ready to lay an egg--I feel it.

This is going to be a good basketball game and the Illini better be ready for a up tempo game.

This dayton team runs like a pack of deers, the pressure the ball very well and are one of the fastest teams I ever saw in getting back on defense.

The offense of Dayton works off set plays and this should allow Illinois to at least catch some air.

Dayton is 1-6 vs top 25 RPI teams this year and 2-2 vs top 50 rpi

This team I suspect will be in this game the whole way they have not lost by more than 8 points all year.

A Couple points to think about......

When I look at the schedule that Dayton has played in the last 8 games they really played nobody and won. They love to foul and will keep the Illini at the line all night.

The Line opened ILLINI -7.5 and now the entire betting world has driven it down to Illini -3.5 at game time. It looks like allot of smart money came in on dayton at 7pts moving the line.

The line is razor sharp and I think Illinois pure raw talent is Superior to Dayton, so I am taking Illinois to win this game by 7
