I am watching this very entertaining game between A&M and OK St and I can't help but wonder what the fuck the coaches are thinking. Are these guys truly this stupid?

You have a team with a 7 point lead, possession on the plus side of the 50, 5:00 min left in regulation and you call pass plays and on your 2nd and 10 run play (after incompletion) where you gain 5 on the play you run your "hurry-up" offense and snap your 3rd down & 5 play with 15 seconds left on the play clock.

I have no stake on the game (which is probably a good thing seeing how incredibly stupid the coaching is), but this is so incredibly moronic I am stunned that someone is getting paid big bucks to be the HC for this "major" conference team. And as I post this, A&M has just gone right down the field like a hot knife through butter for the game tieing TD.

Does anyone else watching feel like the OK St coaches have their heads stuck up their rectums? This may be the worst coaching I have ever seen in 30 years of watching college football.

I agree. Only thing I can figure is they had the over on the game That was some unusual play calling to be sure

As a OSU alum I have to say I agree with that part of the coaching, however it is less stupid than the game on monday night with 1:45 and chicago inside the 10 yard line and twice they stop them from a td leaving less than an extra point distance field goal for the win with the expectation that they could return a kick off back with 8 seconds for a touchdown, now thats bad coaching. BTW OSU won but bumped the game and covered the overs

No, the Okie coaches are far more stupid than what happened in that NFL game. Not even close.

why yes I believe green bay lost monday night...but that isnt what the topic is. another argument is the bears were also foolish for not just taking a knee, killing the clock and setting up for the FG.

but in neither case do the bear or packer coaches rival the absolute stupidity shown by osu. there is NO excuse or argument whatsoever that would justify rushing to the line to snap the ball with between 15-20 seconds left on the play clock. going "no-huddle" in that situation is completely asinine and makes no sense whatsoever. these geniuses burned a whopping 30 seconds off the game clock for that series WITHOUT forcing A&M to even use a single timeout. that level of stupidity should get one shit canned from coaching midget football.

I guess its sour grapes on my part losing cash on Green Bay that had 17 penalties and negated 3 ints because of penalties and I won cash on the OSU game. I hardly think the Off cord would get shit canned when going into the game he had second best O in the country albeit they played 3 patsys.
