5-4 with Pats and Pats/Jets under still to go.

Two Pick 6s by Peyton Manning, 4 in the game and one in OT. Who can predict that?! Peyton Manning turns into Brett Farve!

Make that 6-4 with Pats and Pats/Jets under still to go. Not bad.

I called in another thread cowboys would win. The schedule was in their favor having played thursday afternoon at home and the colts sunday night away.
They should have played the lions this past weekend instead of a couple weeks ago that would have balanced the schedule.
That much extra time to prepare and rest and the momentum they've been playing with and how much the colts have slowed just made it more obvious. I figured they would come close and if didn't win would cover.
and I'm a Giants fan so I hate admitting the cowboys can do anything.

Nice day...I was on the Colts too. Peyton is pressing without his usual weapons and no running game.

Like your under call tonight too.

              woodee,

Exactly about Peyton. He needs some help in the OL and at WR. A better defense wouldn't hurt. But he is forcing it. He doesn't like to get sacked so he always gets it out and it has been killing him lately. Eli does the same. But they seldom get hurt so you can't fault them. Keeps them upright and in the game for the long term. Other QBs are holding the ball and getting smacked around.

It's not the WR I see as the problem for peyton it's the running back situation. They have guys who can catch the ball. Without a run threat that O-line is defending a strong pass rush nearly every play, the defense knows he's going to throw it and it's going to be tight. They need playaction and to be able to run the ball even slightly. Fix that and the rest will work itself out.

7-5 for the weekend as the Pats were easy, but they wanted to run it up and rub it in so the over hit by a FG. I was expecting worse weather and some resistance by the Jets' D. Wow.

I didn't post but added Jets under 20.5, Brady 25 more passing yards than Sanchez (too easy) and Sanchez under 19 completions.

Sanchez is a big liability for the Jets. I honestly think Kellen Clemons would take then farther.

Good weekend. I ended up taking NE -14 on a 'libe' line during the 1st quarter as I saw they were ready to play.
