I may be gone for a while,

I just wanted to let my friends here at BW know that I may be away for a while.

The time frame is unknown, it may be just a few days (god willing) or longer.

Tomorrow morning I am being admitted to the hospital to once and for all determine what is causing my pain. After a battery of test there are several possible culprits and most require surgery.

I am painfully optimistic that I will not require surgery and will be able to return to my old healthy US Marine Corps Veteran body soon.

Sitting here tonight I must admit I am scared, scared of the unknown I guess, I would deeply appreciate it if you could say a prayer or light a candle for me, I am thinking I am going to need all the help I can get.

Wow Carpet, so sorry to hear this. That's the blessing and the curse of
the internet. You know someone's interest, but a lot of times you know
nothing about the person. I truly hope all goes well and you will be back
here with some positive news.

Good Luck with everything I will say a prayer for you. I know what you must feel I myself have had half of my throat cut out with cancer and had 61 treatments of radiation and there is nothing more they can do for me if the cancer comes back. So be brave and hope for the best and a speedy recovery.
