I have been looking at several games and what has jumped off the Carpet is that these lines are over inflated. Let's take a look a few games

ILLINOIS -21 vs Arkansas State, opened at 14.5 and quickly rose to 21 for no reason, State is a feisty bunch of players with a new HC and I think turn overs will keep this team in the game, (a close one Illinois by 20)

Minnesota + 23.5 vs USC started at 16.5, Minny always plays their best in opening games while it never translates to how the rest of the season may go, I am laying with the gophers to keep it to 17

Middle Tenn +17 vs Purdue began at 15, now word has it Purdues QB is out, Marve is the back up and he is not 100% a QB from Miami, Marve is a INT MACHINE give me middle to keep this close.

My favorite game of the week so far NW + 3 vs Boston College, started at +10 now down to + 3 , I know the head the coach of NW Fitzgerald has this team ready to play and this team will surprise many people this year. Give me the WILDCATS

Be careful of Northwestern. Persa is uncertain to start. I really think he is the heart and sole of this Wildcat team

I remember a few years back Arky State played Iowa very close and that was their 11 -win season. They are well-coached.

I still like Purdue to route MTSU whoever plays QB. Just a different level of talent and MTSU does not have much this year. Purdue by 20+ with a solid group coming back upfront.

Outside of the big-10, I like Fresno State to keep it close with Cal and ECU to scare Spurrier and SC a little in a game that will be closer than many think.
