  • RestEasy's picks week 1

    Not sure if I'll do this every week but what the heck right?

    *Tenn - surprised they are even underdogs. (were underdogs some places have at -1 now still a good play)
    *houston/indy OVER - even with Foster out this is a good pick
    NE/Miami OVER -
    TB - lions are looking good in preseasons but they have yet to prove to me they can play well outside their dome.
    jets - it's Ryan vs Ryan sure but it's also 10th anniversary of 9/11 in NY! Emotions will dominate.

    * indicates my favorites

    Good luck!

    i also like in straight up victories the bears, rams and giants. BUT I'm a giants fan so the last 2 picks are somewhat biased.
    Figured I'd throw those out there but they aren't my more confident picks because of the bias.
    And the bears I think will win on the home field though atlanta is good and this could go the other way easy enough it's not a high confidence pick but one I feel well enough stating.

      I suck then. 0-3 in the morning. wow. week 1 killer. plus missed my nfl GOW by 2 pts.
      unless you got tenn when they were +3. which would make it 1-2 but I thought they'd win straight up.
      Oh well.

          haha it's what I was thinking. my superbowl hangover. I'll bounce back.
          1-3 so far (not counting tenn being +3 early on) with possible 2-3 after tonight.

            It's also the curse of posting picks. I can win 6 in a row but I'll lose as soon as I post....lol.

                exactly why I've never posted my picks like this before. But figured I would. Funny thing is I made a couple side wagers both on the over of the cards/panthers and over on jets/dallas but since i didn't post them I'm still 1-3.
                Thing I did last year that worked that needs to be re-learned each season is to trust the gut decision and work from there.
